At Gamescom 2017, Microsoft and the Xbox team shared new information about the Xbox One X console and its upcoming release this fall, including an Xbox One Light Mode, Network Transfers, and more info regarding enhanced Xbox One X games.
Xbox’s Mike Ybarra announced that they will be allowing fans to update their 4K-ready and Xbox One X enhanced games ahead of the console’s launch, and will also allow users to transfer and install games and files over their home network without having to download them from the Xbox servers again. A light mode will also be making its way to the Xbox One dashboard.
Aaron Greenberg, Head of Xbox Games Marketing, also announced that over 100 Xbox One titles will be enhanced for the launch of the Xbox One X.
