In this weeks bulletin Bravo covers San Diego Comic-Con from last weekend, a quick look at the Champions Bundle with new pictures of the armors coming August 20th. We also get an update for the Halo 4 Global Championship. Make sure to check out the full bulletin here.
As you may know, we ran into an issue with the Halo 4 Global Championship leaderboard late on Sunday evening, which made the week 2 leaderboard temporarily unavailable. Our teams worked around the clock to resolve this issue, and we are pleased to say that we believe the leaderboard issue is now resolved. As we have messaged throughout the week, no data was lost, and any games that you played during the outage should now appear on the leaderboard.
We apologize for the extreme inconvenience that the leaderboard issue has caused to all week 2 competitors. To reward players who compete in the Halo 4 Global Championship moving forward, we’ll be granting all competitors 20 Double XP tokens for each week that they qualify (played at least 20 games of the Global Championship playlist). While this does not make up for the leaderboard outage, we hope that players who haven’t yet reached SR130 can take advantage of the additional XP boost during the Halo 4 Global Championship. If you qualified during week 1 of the Halo 4 Global Championship, your Double XP tokens have already been added to your account. To redeem them, simply play in any Halo 4 Matchmaking playlist, and they will be added to your account after each game.
Because of the leaderboard issue, we’ll be delaying the final confirmation of the week 1 winners as well to ensure that all final data is correct. Keep an eye on Halo Waypoint and social channels for the announcement of the week 1 finalists who will be headed to the Halo 4 Global Championship finals. For now, let’s take a look at week 2’s newly updated leaderboard as of 7:30pm PDT today.
