Within the trailer it looks like the Halo Championship Series will work with ESL, Major League Gaming, Twitch and Youtube Gaming for Halo 5: Guardians.
Ahead of the Xbox Gamescom briefing today, New York Times released an article which confirms what has been rumored and discussed for months – a one million dollar tournament for the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.
While details at this moment are very brief, it looks like sometime in the near future, we will be seeing a tournament in Halo 5: Guardians which will feature a one million dollar prize pool. A quote from the article says:
As part of that push, Microsoft will announce on Tuesday that its Halo competition will give away a total of $1 million in prize money, the most ever for the game.
With the Xbox Gamescom briefing about to take place, it is anticipated that the tournament will be officially confirmed and detailed. As always, once we know more we will be sure to update the article to keep you in the loop.
