I tried in Off-Topic but the poll didn't show up for some reason. If it doesn't work again please just reply with a response.

I’ve decided to try to engage the Halo/video game community and hopefully start raising awareness about politics by conducting a small poll. This recent mid-term election, the turnout for Millennials was an embarrassing ~18%.  I think gamers are an untapped political resource, as well as a militaristic one. I would like to know which candidate you plan on voting for (or if your voting at all) and whether you consider yourself a Democrat/Republican/Independent/Libertarian or Liberal/Conservative, etc.

I’m an Independent but more accurately identify as a Democratic Socialist.

I’ll be voting for Bernie Sanders, he’s the man.  He voted against the Iraq war, he’s never run a negative political ad and he is to the left of Hillary on basically every issue. He is your cool Grandpa who can get really angry sometimes, but he gets angry about all the right things. Vote 2016!

It seems a bit early to be fully set on a candidate IMO. None of them seem good enough to have my vote in the bag already.

I think once you see where all of the candidates are on each of the key issues it becomes much clearer who you prefer. Sometimes it comes down to a "lesser of two evils" kind of thing. Bernie is the #1 candidate IMO, his voting record backs up all the great things he has been fighting for all these years.

It's early but the race to 2016 has already begun.

I'm from the UK but we have similar popular parties, but here it's a Conservative party that is the most popular, followed by a Socialist, followed by a Nationalist/social party, then Liberal, Green and a right-wing populist party - and those were the only parties with any seats this election.

We use a shitty electoral system that meant a party who had less than 50% of people who voted vote for them win by a majority. I was kinda mad about that cus the Conservative party was literally the only party I didn't want to get in, anyone else then I wouldn't mind.

In Australia, our Liberal party is Conservative...

I'd probably identify most with Libertarians, but since I'm not well informed enough in American politics I'll refrain from voting (in the poll).

Too early to choose who I'd vote for specifically but I don't associate with any political group in particular. Mostly been Democrat as of late because the Republicans can't help but verbally destroy themselves at every turn and that has nothing to do with actually being Republican and more to do with being stupid and totally out of touch with reality. I value quite a lot of Republican ideals though.

Very liberal on social issues, more centrist-democrat on economic/fiscal ones...

I just don't have the energy to cheer/support Bernie Sanders because I know I'll eventually have to switch over to Hillary  :lxthul:

So, #ReadyForHillary  :ghost:

This has nothing to do with halo

1. Voting is for sheep

2. It doesn't matter who wins

3. You are a sheep if you think sanders will win

4. This has nothing to do with halo

5. It doesn't matter who wins

I'm not going to get in a political debate on a Halo forum but all I'm going to say is that you need to read up on Economics and California's debt, and then see what Sanders is saying what he wants to do as President, then your perception of him being a "cool grandpa" will change very much.
