Probably designed to wear out FASTER than the default controller because they know hardcore gamers care more.

Thank god, hopefully it's a decent product

I'm getting sick of buying controllers that are DESIGNED to fail after a certain amount of wear

Hopefully it's decent and it makes sense $ wise

I hear you. My left thumbstick on my Halo Reach controller (Don't worry, I'm not a reach kid anymore since coming here) isn't responding anymore. Maybe it's a punishment for using it in a few COD games...

Don't count on it being fairly priced, this is M$ we're talking about (that $20 360 "headset" lol)

I don't buy controllers cos I know no matter how much I lie to myself that it won't make me better :kappa:

Rock Candy's controllers aren't that distinctive in function, but they feel 10x more solid and have better Thumb Stick rubber than the Stock Xbone controllers.

Microsoft spent 100 million dollar on R&D for the current Xbox One pad, seeing them going for another controller somehow makes me wonder what their R&D crew spent all the money for

so for me this news sounds like a made-up thing, if anything they built it on top of the current controller system

or they have long-term plans for a new controller in regards to their VR programm

anyhow in my oppinion it cannot get better than this controller, my first choice for the MCC :)

triggers are crap for shooters, but i otherwise agree.

I actually prefer them. Easier to be more precise.

True...to each their own I guess. I find it easier to be precise when they are more stiff. It would be cool if they added a feature where you could tighten or loosen the thumbsticks to how you like it. Like maybe twist it clockwise to tighten it or counter-clockwise to loosen it....with some security so that it doesn't get altered during gameplay.

Hopefully it's larger like the Duke! I feel the XB1 controller make cracking noises in my hands while I play. It's too small and the analog sticks are not tight like the 360 ones.

I'm so glad you can actually use an Xbox OG-S Controller via adapter. A DIY specialist named Benjamin Heckendorn transformed the insides of a Duke into a full fledged Xbox 360 Controller. The only criticism I have is not turning that Polyurethane Crest (Logo) into a stealthy button, it was still something I'd sneak off with or paid hundreds for.
