Halo CE Player Spawn Positions

Hey folks,

 

I figured with that since it seems 343i is basing CE off of the PC port, why not check out the spawn positions?

 

Here's Hang 'Em High:

These screenshots were taken from the Halo Editing Kit from the PC version. The spawn point widgets can be seen through geometry.

 

Sorry for the low quality pictures. On that note, if anyone knows a good image hosting site, I'll re-upload the pics in higher quality. Otherwise I believe you *might* be able to view them in HQ in the photobucket album (no time to figure it out now).

 

Sidenote: There are different spawns for different gametypes (i.e.: Slayer, CTF, etc.)

 

Oh I'm also taking requests for other maps.

Spawn percents are still pretty far off (random random percent is way too high when you're near multiple spawns, and some forced spawns are way too low).

Mintograde, I was the guy (Jimmyrrr) that was talking with you about your project in xZefy's H:CE LAN stream the other day. I am glad to see that you posted this on the forums, and I hope that everyone finds this to be just as amazing as I do. I am always amazed by the cool stuff that the Halo community is able to create, and you project is no exception.

Man this is absolutely incredible, exactly what we need.

 

And I guess this means the OP should do the maps that aren't on this list haha.

Even if spawn %'s are pretty far off, this tool you created will definitely be a big help for many people to learn spawn points in H1, or go back and review spawns after games.  

 

Once you're ready with the still images, we need to promote it and get behind it.  H1 will be a new experience for many, but tools like this and youtube tutorials could help foster a new generation of H1 players to start competing with the OG.  Keep it up Mintograde!

This is absolutely perfect for getting new players into the game. it's much easier just to walk around on the maps yourself to see where exactly spawns are, instead of just looking at pictures.

I can also see forgers having a ton of fun with this.. using it for remakes and all. Sweet!!!!
