Soooo many people on this site try to get a rise out of the H1 guys!  I don't get it, because the H1 guys I know (the ones who actually lan and play h1, not the random forum guys) don't say anything about the newer age of halo players, and we like, have SOOOO much ammunition..  Like it would be an absolute slaughter if it ever came down to it, yet they still poke and prod.  Whaaaatever, come say it to my face bic boy.

 

PS  Hang Em High is garbage and Chill Out is the best map imo.

Seeing these at the bottom of the list isn't as frustrating as realizing the maps that are above them, a.k.a every Reach and Halo 4 map that are going to be above Zealot and Skyline, the best two maps in those games.

Its not even an insult to insinuate someone who is 30+ is a loser or something for playing video-games well into their adult life. The average age of gamers today is like 34(or close to that), its just sad that some people still have this messed up stereo-type from the media in the 90's/Early 2000's that video-games are "childish" and an immature hobby. AAA Video-game releases are on par with the largest grossing movies of today, big e-sport events compete with college athletics viewer-ship, and video-games are certainly not a lesser hobby for adults than other forms of entertainment or even sport.

Monolith was perhaps the second best map from 343.

 

What Hoberman said about damnation is correct. It may be the favorite amongst certain crowds but there isn't enough distinctive features in many areas to properly orient yourself.

 

I couldn't tell whose opinion they were sharing in their choice of ranks.

Pretty sure the only reason Exile is there is because that list was part of the Halo 4 hype.

 

It's much like how the current list is being "balanced" between games instead of straight up trashing Halo 4 and Reach lol.
