Spotted an Extended Mags variant of the Longshot AR. Currently doesn't exist in the retail game, and isn't on the REQ table.

Free Summary of Tested Arena "Refresh Maps"

 

They are in no way official and were made weeks ago. So much could have changed

 

Coliseum

  • BR Replaced w/ Boltshot
  • Suppressor replaced w/ Carbine
  • Sniper Removed, Binary Rifles in each team's cave (3 Minutes); and before you freak out. Binary Rifles are HARDER to use than the Sniper and only have 6 Shots. A Sniper has 12 Shots and is easier to use.
  • Grenades moved around
  • SMG moved to Bottom Base

Fathom

  • Boltshot and BR switch locations
  • SAW Bottom Mid (3 Minutes)
  • Speed Boost Top Mid
  • Storm Rifles moved to Sub (above Water)
  • SMG Removed
  • Grenades moved around

Riptide

  • There were MANY Riptide Variants that I found. They also said that they will be releasing this one later on so I wouldn't trust anything you see as of yet

Torque

  • Hammers Removed
  • Sword Top Mid
  • Top Mid Pillar Removed, you can now drop down to Bottom Mid
  • Rockets Bottom Mid on CTF
  • This is also subject to change since it isn't being released with GoM
  • SMG moved
  • H2 BR replaced with DMR
  • DMRs removed
  • BR on each teams Nest
  • Suppressors removed
  • Grenades moved around
  • Also subject to change (I found multiple iterations from the members of Pro Team. They had also tested Dual Snipers but scrapped that variant)

Regret

  • Filter added to change lighting
  • Storm Rifles removed
  • Needler replaced by Storm Rifle
  • Needler moved to Plasma Pistol (Car 2)
  • Plasma Pistol moved to P1
  • Fuel Rod replaced with Plasma Caster
  • DMRs moved to Ramparts
  • Boltshot moved to DMR
Rig
  • Basement Stronghold moved closer to Yellow Corner, cannot be naded or seen from the Inside of the map

Binaries are hard to use? What world do you live in?

Same armories, bases and bosses again. Lame.

Excuse the fact that there are new structures on the map and additional geo to change how the battles for each of those bases flow. 

 

I get that you want new bases and I'm sure they'll come in the future, I just think you guys don't understand how much goes into making an asset like that, balancing it, having AI operate effectively inside of it, etc.

Binaries are hard to use? What world do you live in?

 

 

One thrust is all it takes to avoid a shot from a person on a low sensitivity.

 

You are aware of the changes to the Binary since Halo 4... right?

I just think you guys don't understand how much goes into making an asset like that, balancing it, 

 

The Armories and Garages are some of the best designed playspaces in Halo 5. They have to be since they are such a pivotal part of Warzone.

 

I imagine it would be tough to create and entirely NEW design with the same level of balance. Reskins would be a better option, and it looks like they did a bit of aesthetic changes for the ones on Skirmish.

I think if they did that it would just fuel the "343 is lazy" train.

Looks like they essentially added additions onto the exteriors of the bases too, which is a great way to give it some variety in gameplay.

I love how they talk about balance, close quarter combat and bla bla bla, and all I can imagine is Wasp's squad spawn trapping the hell out of everyone.
