Apoll0 Posted February 5, 2016 I think one thing alone would go a long way to balancing the automatics: Scoping should not reduce spread. Quote Share this post Link to post
SweetNSavery Posted February 5, 2016 I mean a far more straight-up one.Too be fair an RPG Halo would be pretty dope if it could be pulled off. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Bad Dub Posted February 5, 2016 Have we tested how actually far the AR shoots? 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Cursed Lemon Posted February 5, 2016 Too be fair an RPG Halo would be pretty dope if it could be pulled off. Not if it pretends to be an arena shooter at the same time. 8 Quote Share this post Link to post

Haemorrhage Posted February 5, 2016 Does anyone have the octagon and Ctf warmup maps on their file share? Quote Share this post Link to post
Apoll0 Posted February 5, 2016 I meant like a straight up RPG. only if BioWare or Bethesda makes it and has complete creative control. Quote Share this post Link to post

VinFTW Posted February 5, 2016 Being an inbred mish-mash of a bunch of different concepts, I wouldn't think that anything would play like it. The whole weapons thing especially, Halo gains absolutely nothing by having a bunch of mostly redundant weapons. I can't help but think the next step for Halo at this point is going to be RPG-style leveling. It's the only gameplay style I can think of that's left for them to semi-feasibly Frankenstein into the series. I mean, probably. Destiny and call of duty seem to emulate that loop well. Still though, inbred or not, halo 5 feels fun to play despite the weapon sandbox feeling imperfect. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
BigShow36 Posted February 5, 2016 Or you know, just using logic and not jumping to conclusions so quickly How is anyone jumping to conclusions? That might make sense if that was pre-launch footage and none of us had played the game. No one is basing "the auto's are OP" claim on that gif alone. Quote Share this post Link to post

Brad Riffs Posted February 5, 2016 It's not without it's glaring issues, but it's certainly the most fun FPS I've played since Halo 2. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
ZipCity117 Posted February 5, 2016 So 5v5 doesn't work on these maps. Lemme guess, it's a chaotic mess? They probably think that makes it more fun and social. Can't believe this is the best they can do for a weekend playlist. IDC what anyone says about OP autos, the comp. community has been dealt a far better hand than casual scrubs for H5 *Not every casual likes warzone Quote Share this post Link to post
Rudzki Posted February 5, 2016 Lemme guess, it's a chaotic mess? They probably think that makes it more fun and social. Well it kinda is. In opposite land. The kindest thing I could say is that it turns every map in to Overgrowth. Quote Share this post Link to post
