If you think viewership doesnt matter to 343, competitive Halo, sponsors or even the general audience - then I dont know what to say to you.

 

The goal for 343 is to GAIN interest in the next month and not have their title drop back down the charts where more people are watching Viva Pinata than a HCS tournament.

The after game stats have been coming and going for me. Been grinding (not really cause its fun) Breakout. I was Gold 1 yesterday. Now Gold 3. Out of my 30 ish matches only 5 quitters.

 

I played 15 matches of TS with a friend who was ranked platinum 1 before I played with him. Placement matches: played good 5 matches, bad 3 matches, then the last two matches went even. The last three matches of my placement were close. Got ranked into Platinum 1.

 

So I guess my skill level is high Gold, low Platinum.

So is there even a strategy for Fathom slayer? The map doesn't have any valuable mid-range sightlines that the pistol, BR, or light rifle can capitalize on unless the target is already weakened. The H5 railgun hates me and I prefer to avoid the catwalks in general because you can get pinched very suddenly from any direction. I've seriously resorted to just timing camo like a hawk, and once I have it patrolling the subs/bottom mid area with the AR and getting the first shot on people. So basically I'm being that guy.
