This is true and 343's word. For those keeping track. 1M+ peak pop at H3 launch. 800K at Reach& Halo4 at 430K+. I doubt 343 will announce anything like this for its launch.

Just a question...but why does it seem like 90% of you complain about 343 and how they did Halo 4 and MCC, but still go and preorder Halo 5?

 

Definitely not trying to sound like a superior snob, but I really want to know why.

 

Halo 5 is launching without forge, big team battle, snipers, doubles, and only 2 objective playlists. MCC takes 5 months to see patches that don't really do anything...isn't this because 343 can get away with it due to them making millions of dollars no matter how bad their games are?

 

It looks like 99% of Halo players are going to buy Halo 5 regardless of how much stuff they delay or don't add.

 

Why would 343 spend their profit when they won't see a valid return on it due to everyone buying Halo 5/MCC/Halo 4 anyways?

All playlists will be ranked. They're not keeping them unranked until the first season starts.

I imagine when it does start, they'll be reset as planned.

To be fair, the Platoon system really helped my group stay active with each other. Great for everyone jumping into the same server and staying a group.
