Looks like it. Weird.

 

 

It barely saved time anyway, and they probably got rid of it to amplify the importance of instant powerup pickups.

 

Unless its a bug, of course.

It can also mean better players and worse connections though...

 

 

 

Weird little issue I noticed, you can't adjust the horizontal/vertical sensitivity in game in the campaign.

The expanded search matched me (Onyx 1500) with unranked and low Diamond for a few matches, and the shot registration didn't feel as crisp.

Okay, first game in Arena in forever. Teammate goes 0-9 in first two minutes with 4 betrayals and tons of random damage on us just because. Why do I even bother?

If you are in onyx you can already match high champ players pretty easily. I'll probably be using the strictest setting when searching solo, since I don't enjoy playing champ To4s with a diamond on my team. Then again, I haven't been playing the playlist nearly as much since they added the test settings.

 

What are everyone's thoughts on the aiming settings? Are we going to see a massive migration to even X and Y? I'm pretty excited to mess around with it.

It feels like they may have changed the sensitivity curves slightly, aiming feels more snappy and slightly less heavy for me. Feels this way in the horizontal axis as well so it's not just changing the vertical sensitivity.

 

Then again this could just be placebo and I can't aim for shit with my new settings anyway. Need to get used to them.

Yup, that's usually how it pans out. REQs show up, aren't usually available in packs until 2-3PM PT to ensure everything is working good.

 

Anyone else not getting REQ points?

You're still getting them, just that the in-game display is down right now.

Still can't believe that server selection isn't a options yet. i

mean dedis on the pc have the options so why not halo 5?

 

Hell, even rocket league have one and that game is a indie game.

Those are games that are built around exploration and creativity. The foundational design for Halo has always been two teams fighting and shooting each other. When you have modes like Grifball that become a core part of the game but don't resemble any of the other modes, it's not healthy for the game.

 

And yeah that metaphor is a good way to describe it.

Its not healthy except that its a huge part of why Halo used to be so popular? Ok
