Animosity Posted October 15, 2014 Never played with anything from Numark, but they seem to put out some compelling controllers, never fancied them myself. If I were to get a new controller it would definitively be something from Pioneer DDJ line. It's been a while for me, but I liked the stuff pioneer had Quote Share this post Link to post

Zandermannnn Posted October 21, 2014 XIM4: Allows me to use my mouse and keyboard with any Console. Does this cause any additional input lag? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
ZerueLX11 Posted October 21, 2014 Does this cause any additional input lag? In technical terms yes, 8 milliseconds. But read the quote from the Developer himself. Agreed. XIM isn't adding on top of existing latency. It synchronizes with the console. Xbox One and 360 has an 8ms USB poll rate. That means your mouse input will be delivered to the console with a delay guaranteed no longer than 8ms -- which is exactly the same as the controller. PS3 is 10ms. PS4 can be 4ms, but, we chose it to be 8ms because we believe the benefit of shaving 4ms doesn't outweigh the added complexity to an already complex (and thoroughly tested) system. So the Xbox updates for Actions every 8ms, the Xim4 syncs up with it. For example -> You press Left click to shoot, the signal travels in X amount of time to the XIM4. The XIM4 translates the shooting into an Xbox compatible signal in Y amount time. The XIM4 sends the signal to the Xbox in Z amount of time. If X + Y + Z is less than 8ms, then it will wait till an 8ms interval is complete to send the signal. Quote Share this post Link to post

Have you used it with any Xbox One games? How does it feel? Quote Share this post Link to post

Synyster Posted October 24, 2014 ^ Looks good. How do you like the hard wood floor? I'm getting a new bed tomorrow, king size, and I'm finally getting some studio monitor stands so I can get them off my desk and then I'm getting dual monitors. New setup incoming. Quote Share this post Link to post
Vertigo Posted October 24, 2014 They're original wood floors to the house, they're nice because I do so much other type of work in my room that makes a mess with cleaning up 3D prints and such, it'd be a nightmare if I had carpet. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
