Yea so much respect for a team that pays a player worth 25+ million only 20% of that! 29 other NBA teams would have to pay FULL PRICE... this is crossing the line and you can’t blame lebron for this either. He’s making 35 million per no matter where he plays.

Think of brook Lopez agent calling teams, asking for 8-10 million. The response would be, “well boogie only got 5” yea there’s a ripple effect. It’s sad that it’s come to this, but oh well at least Klay is leaving next summer.

It's just amazing to me that people love LeBron so much when he held the cavs hostage and made them pay jr and TT but when  the warriors for like 10 years were analytically making great move after great move now all of a sudden are the big bad wolf that ruined the nba. Literally every move they made was a great one, maybe other nba franchises should start actually you know making analytics their absolute number 1 priority and not suck at drafting people and maybe then the NBA will improve.

The Golden State Warriors have taken advantage of every fortunate event in the past half decade.

Sign Curry to an undervalued contract due to ankle injuries.

Don’t trade Klay Thompson for Kevin Love in 2014.

Cap spike leads to Kevin Durant in 2016.

Sign Cousins off achilles in 2018.

That is a load of bologna and if you choose to believe that then you're just as bad if not worse than the Lebron fans.

ah yes they were just very fortunate, doubt they had anyone in the franchise that actually projected the salary cap spike, or evaluated the talents of klay and decided not to do the trade. As well as getting them all on smart contracts so they can eventually sign a big name talent off FA.

Achilles injuries are no joke. It's never the same, and if you look at wesley matthews or other athletes that have endured the same injury they looked like crap for the rest of their careers. So I partially believe teams were probably offering maybe 10-12m or something along those lines but for him it was super smart joining the warriors with absolutely 0 pressure to come back early, and win a title in the process.

They built this team - minus durant and a guy coming off an achiles. This isnt the Big Three in Miami who signed 4+ top name FA's out of nowhere, and overnight became the best team in the NBA = if you want to blame anyone, blame them for changing the culture.

It was fun last night watching JJJ light it up. But as a Grizzlies fan I'm sure something bad is gonna happen.

Hopefully he has another solid performance tonight.

That's what good organizations do. They take advantage of opportunities that make sense and don't bother with the rest.

Our young core will benefit from it ultimately and it’ll be a one year deal so what’s the risk?

The risk is you fall in love with him, only for him to be gone the next season :(

Lol kings tried stealin your guy! I’m so glad nobody threw 100+ at Gordon, at least the contract isn’t too bloated. Lavine is a good player when healthy.

yeah hes got some upside but i dont think he'll ever be an all-star.  Whatever, at least we can make some small moves next off season and still have two max slots.  This upcoming draft is loaded with top tier wings tho, i was hoping to tank even harder than last season and let lavine walk.

the young magic bigs looked pretty good yesterday gporter!

I guess I can understand people disliking Grayson Allen, but why is it whenever an article is written about him, they talk about white privilege? They do realize that basketball, especially from a professional standpoint, is a predominantly black sport in America? White players are viewed as soft for the most part. Allen is talked about as if black players who are "dirty" are viewed more harshly. That just isn't the case. If anything, he's viewed more harshly because he's white. All white players are viewed more harshly in the NBA. But regardless, he's pretty much a Draymond Green like figure. People act like there's no precedent for him in the NBA.
