Spartan Assault: Operation Hydro Update

Recommended Posts

Halo: Spartan Assault, the official top-down Halo shooter on Windows 8 devices from 343 Industries and Vanguard Games will be receiving an update on August 29th, 2013.

This update will include multiple new missions, new achievements and at long last – Xbox 360 Controller support.

Awesome. It's a fun and relaxing game to play, but the mouse/keyboard combo for a twin stick shooter (a genre that was made specifically for twin sticks) just doesn't feel right in any way. It's like playing Starcraft with a 360 controller. When the update hits, going to restart and play it again, should be fun.

Still no iOS or 360 version?

That's something they need to announce at PAX

An X1 version is what's likely going to happen, especially with the strong rumors of Windows 8 apps being supported on the X1.

A guy can dream  :gandhi:

It just doesn't make sense though.  The purpose of this game was, believe it or not, to sell the platform.  That's why it was W8 only and not even an arcade feature.

By the looks of it it seems to be a problem with the cloud storage being down

Yep, and it will be returned probably by the end of the day.   Also, this only affects the pc version- the phone version is fine.
