It was fun in the alpha when there weren't any classes locked behind a paywall, and I could make all my weapons look like a Nerf gun.

From what I understand, they're going with the awful pay-per-character model which just makes me want to avoid it.

simply open your disc trap and place this in and it should boost your performance so you never drop below 30fps on it. Especially for the games that push the console to the limit, like Guacamelee.

Yes, the SP is actually a lot of fun and totally worth playing.  Theres an achievement for playing each MP game mode once, and it was all I could bear.

Far Cry 3&4 got very good SP and co-op, MP? Not so much.
