I believe 343 stated pre-launch that Solace was inspired by Narrows and we all got hyped for it. Then it came out...

Which is why the veto system is better. Yeah it's nice that you get to pick your map, but then everyone keeps picking the same map and then there's no variety and the game gets stale. If they didn't use the veto system i'd prefer if it was just 2 selections, but the veto system is the way to go.

Agreed completely. Between that and the fact that if two maps have the same number of votes, it always picks the first one bothers me sooooo muchhhhhh. The first map always seems to be the same damn thing I've played all day.

Or they could use the system in the Global FFA playlist; it doesn't allow voting or backing out. I don't know if it would be possible to have two voting options, and three options is just annoying.

Overshield is the perfect powerup in my opinion. I don't know which is better: Damage Boost or Camo. And then there's Speed Boost, which is controversial. I can't think of another powerup... But a custom powerup is a MUST.

If the middle hole was removed and the then split sides came together, and then you removed the towers it's like narrows.
