Reading some of the reactions from Swift fans has been hilarious. Fear Inoculum is excellent, and TOOL deserve this praise. dont hit me with dat clickbait. it's weekly album sales lol. at first i was like wtf t swift and tool are even in the running? My friends are all big tool fans so it made me think I was wrong for thinking they weren't a big deal. Def one of the biggest names in their genre no doubt but it made me do a double take Quote Share this post Link to post
PLaTaNo Posted September 8, 2019 So I got to a 42 then I went back down to a 38 and just got my 40 back yesterday. Do any of you peeps still play or what? I need back up. Quote Share this post Link to post
RTSxRagnarok Posted September 22, 2019 Shotzzy is teaming with Huke, Crimsix, Illey, and Clayster for the new CoD in the franchise league. That team is disgusting. Frosty's team is pretty good too, Maux, Skyz, Havok, and Prestinni Quote Share this post Link to post
Pranzer Posted September 28, 2019 Destiny 2 will be free to play on October 1st: Quote Share this post Link to post

B-sides are fun but after the 4th or 5th chapter I couldn’t complete them. I haven’t even tried getting the C-sides. I couldn’t beat the newly released Chapter 9 either. It’s difficulty is well beyond the Core which was pretty hard for me. B-sides have some dope remix tracks though and it’s really cool that the game offers so much extra content if you’re willing to put the effort in to get good. Quote Share this post Link to post

I love the fact that it's challenging yet very low in punishment. I think that's the perfect mix for a platformer. I'm on chapter 6 with all B-sides done so far. Didn't even know C-sides were a thing. Apparently I'm not finding all the secrets like I thought lol. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the chase sequences, but this game serves them in such small doses that it's not a huge deal. Quote Share this post Link to post

I just know of their existence because I like watching speed runs. There are golden strawberries too that you can get. Quote Share this post Link to post

Silos Posted October 24, 2019 Celeste is fantastic. The C-sides are brutal, but they're really short. Chapter 9 on the other hand is long, has larger gaps between checkpoints, and is hard. I still enjoyed it, but it was the only chapter of Celeste that I had to do in multiple sittings. Quote Share this post Link to post
Boyo Posted November 26, 2019 If anyone is interested, the Sega Genesis Mini is currently on sale for $50 at Best Buy and Walmart. Just snagged one. Quote Share this post Link to post
The Tyco Posted January 11, 2020 I don't know if anyone is aware, but I some of you might be happy to know Murder Miners was updated and brought forward to the Xbone. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

It runs well and the controller feels good but it’s a fucking unforgivable travesty that Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles aren’t included. I wish Decap Attack was there too. Look through the list of games and decide if it’s worth it. Physically, it looks great next to the NES and SNES minis. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

My biggest issue with the S/NES classic is that they add a considerable amount of input lag. Its not unplayable, but not great. Have you noticed anything like that on the Genesis mini? 1 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Boyo Posted January 29, 2020 I haven’t noticed any significant input delay but I haven’t been playing fighting games that require real specific timings. One thing though, either the main menu is super sensitive or sometimes interprets one input as two but this doesn’t seem to occur in games. That is good news that Project Lunar can add more games but I would have preferred if all the games were officially quality checked for any bugs. If I was going to go through the trouble of adding games myself with no guarantee that they’ll work entirely correctly, I could have just used a raspberry pi. @Nokt Quote Share this post Link to post

I might pick one up if they drop below $40. I don't have any huge reason to buy one other than nostalgia. I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find any issues with ROMs from that era (though I do know some exist, I just have no interest in playing them), especially something as popular as Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I have yet to have an issue with any game I've loaded onto my NES or SNES classic. I don't know the extent of Project Lunar, but just based off the notes it looks like it will improve games over the stock experience " Performance tweaks and boosts (fix lag issues) (1.0ghz > 1.344ghz, ZRAM compression, DRAM SWAP) " " ‘Fix’ stock scanlines by toggling smoothing off within stock emulator " 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Destroyaaa Posted March 11, 2020 Random but I went to PAX east a few weeks ago and they had a Halo 2 tournament on the day I was there and I didn't know until it was over. I'll have to go again next time and see what kind of competition shows up for that lol Quote Share this post Link to post
Knighty Knight Posted March 11, 2020 Marketing is never priority in esports and I'll NEVER understand it because the first thing the organizers complain about is the attendance or participation. If you invest in promotion and your presentation the people will invest in you. Quote Share this post Link to post

LI Mr X IL Posted April 3, 2020 I think a Doom Eternal deathmatch with the weapons on map (unlike the godawful choice to use loadouts in Doom 2016) that did away with dash and gave everyone the air control rune would have made for the perfect arena FPS on console. I’m disappointed in their choice to have battle mode as their only PvP offering. I beat the campaign on nightmare and got all the collectibles. I loved every minute of it but now it has run its course and the multiplayer itch needs to be scratched. I tried a few rounds of battle mode and it just doesn’t interest me. If Infinite has the movement of Doom Eternal minus dash plus air control rune I think people who want a game with a fast paced feeling would be very pleased with absolutely no need for sprint. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

I just finished my first playthrough on Nightmare and it was INCREDIBLE! So rewarding. I agree completely. We need a solid PvP mode in Doom. It feels so damn good. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
