darkstar Posted December 10, 2019 Yeah the color palette was definitely lackluster, as were a lot of the disc maps. Funny enough it had some of the best DLC maps in the franchise imo. To me, specialist is what made that game worthwhile. Quote Share this post Link to post
The Tyco Posted December 10, 2019 Ugh... MW3 was fucking GARBAGE for a CoD game. Perk balance was out of whack, support killstreaks dominated the maps, fucking deathstreaks returned stronger than ever, and MP7/ACR/Bizon dominance. I remember trying to return to that dogshit game after a few years thinking it couldn't have been as bad as remembered it. It didn't take more than five minutes before it reminded me it was EXACTLY the way I remembered it. Mw3 and Ghosts strike a very special hate nerve with me, that no game, not even Halo 4 could ever touch. 3 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I'm very happy with its return in MW2019. 1 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Warlord Wossman Posted December 10, 2019 Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Modern Warfare 3 is a better game than Halo Sprintfinite, at least they knew what they were doing when they made that game. Quote Share this post Link to post

Idk. Things like stealth bombers being support streaks, the glaring weapon balance problems and most importantly deathstreaks returning stronger than ever after everyone shitting on that dumbass idea for two years straight doesn't paint the picture of a company that knows what they're doing. The campaign was also some H5 kind of shit where they retconned MW1 and 2 to shoehorn in a useless side character and made Juggernaut suits part of the lore with the last mission. With that said, I enjoyed a good part of the campaign levels and the MP also had some good ideas like specialist streaks, pointstreaks instead of killstreaks and some of the maps were unironically good compared to the shit that came after. But yeah at least the game didn't take 5 years to come out so there's that 1 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I never understood the hate for MW3. I always felt it was just a way more balanced version of MW2. Then again, I was never one of those people who thought MW2 was as great as it’s reputation is these days. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

MW3 was slightly more balanced but also lacked a lot of things that made MW2 so fun. Both games are complete shite when compared to the GOATS CoD2 and 4. BO2 was also fairly decent, if only the netcode wasn't so garbage. 3 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Warlord Wossman Posted December 10, 2019 No doubt CoD 4 was their last good game but what I am saying is that MW3 is a more solid CoD than H4 and H5 were solid Halo games and thus I am thinking the same will probably apply for Sprintfinite. There are always some quirks you won't like etc but MW3 is not that broken compared to some of their better games... 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

MW2 pubs were pure chaos, but in a wacky, fun sort of way. So much of the game was unbalanced, but I'd be lying if I said the joy I felt from hearing people rage in the post game lobby after getting a nuke, or going on a big streak with akimbo Models wasn't amazing. MW2 variant on the other hand was really fun and had a thriving community, especially for pickup scrims. MW3 pubs were somewhat less chaotic, but things like sitrep pro and the motion tracker, which everyone used, made it much less fun IMO. MW3 competitive was, like I said before, basically just competitive MW2, but with worse everything. CoD4 > CoD2 > BO2 > Everything else in that franchise. 1 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
JordanB Posted December 10, 2019 Whether or not MW3 sucked, it felt like a COD game, and played like one at it's core. Halo 4 didn't. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Boyo Posted December 12, 2019 The Gravity Fist is an item that modifies Melee, Jump, and Crouch. While equipped, melees knock players back. Pressing the Jump button while airborne, and at a sufficient altitude, performs a Ground Pound. Instead of crouching, the Crouch button activates Berserker where the user hunches forward, using his left hand to shield his face. The Gravity Fist on his left hand emits a small sphere that causes incoming projectiles to be reflected away. The user has increased forward movement speed and increased damage resistance to bodyshots but can only perform melee attacks while berserking. Quote Share this post Link to post

Boyo Posted December 13, 2019 The first two phases of an Invasion match are the same. If the Defenders lose the second phase, they quickly vote on one of three final positions to defend. For example, they could choose to stay with the Ground Base and defend its Power Core. Or they could have two Scarabs dropped off and defend their Power Cores. Or they could call in a Battleship and the final battle will occur inside of it, offering more of an arena experience. Quote Share this post Link to post
Boyo Posted December 13, 2019 High ranking Elites wear armor with an Energy Sword built into the left forearm. Throwing a grenade automatically deactivates the sword until the animation has finished. While playing as one of these Elites, the Sword is activated by the Melee button. In addition, while playing as a high ranking Elite, crouching also activates Camo. Quote Share this post Link to post
Boyo Posted December 20, 2019 What do you think about giving the Spiker a unique melee? Holding melee would cause the mounted blade to act like a reciprocating saw, quickly moving forward and back, allowing it to kill faster than standard, slower melee attacks. To further incorporate the attached blade, alt fire could perform a “get over here”, like scorpion from mortal kombat, firing then retracting the blade on a chain. An impacted player would be damaged and pulled to the user. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/89ed4f23-b7b9-40cb-bb1a-299a4816af56 Quote Share this post Link to post

In any Impact depthful factor capacity. Patent Fact. Everything about its formula is Negligent besides its Zombie DLC The Entire Beginning of Sightline Funnel accessible Kindergarten maps. NO. it's not classic modern warfare octane balance You don't need to fucking love death streaks to accept that Black Ops is Interactively mediocre safety popcorn flare But found massive raw shallow attraction from it's color palette and Fidelity Interface Innovation from Yellow +Score text and Rock and Roll sound effects every 5 seconds. Not a single gun from that game is noteworthy and memorable than from MW3. and MW3 had shit compared to 2 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

The color palette and "rock and roll sound effects" had nothing to do with my enjoyment of BO2. The maps, gunplay, league play, hardpoint and SnD, and CoDcaster is why I enjoyed it. Honestly I don't even know what you're talking about in regards to guns from BO2 not being noteworthy or memorable compared to MW3. Partially because that's a stupid metric in the first place, and partially because it's wrong, lol. 2 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
