HCS Pro League Fall 2017 Teams, Seeds, and Discussion‏

Recommended Posts

BabyJ makes literally some of the dumbest plays of anyone I have ever seen. The amount of times he died bottom middle alone on Plaza was insane.

Oooh, an EU team beat an NA AM team.

I can't wait for Infused to run into a pro team so they can go back to being EUrrelevant.

EUphoria or EUlogy

Genuine question: Did Infused have to beat any "pro" teams to make top 6?

I'm not familiar with the pro teams of last season. Curious how the bracket works to allow that.

Edit: nvm Chad answered above (Cryptic)

Edit 2: Damn, highest EU placing ever? Nice.

Yes, admittedly the team they beat went 0-7 in the league but it still counts

But they beat Cryptik earlier today. An NA pro team.

Considering Cryptik were everyone's practice noobs in the online league, I don't know if that really counts.

EU Halo LUL

They cant even take a game off NA (takes games of NA)

They cant even beat AM teams (beats AM teams)

They cant even beat Pro teams (beats Pro team)

Whats next?  :D

Yeah, really weird gatekeeping going on with EU Halo. I don't get it.

Wait so you're judging Str8 Rippin by title not skill. ("AM" team, but Top 8 skill)

Then you're judging Cryptik by skill not title. ("Top 8" team, but AM skill.)

You can't have it both ways.

I really do understand only having one stream with less than 10k viewers....heck less than 25k is probably still reason to have just one stream.

HOWEVER, they knew there would only be one. I don’t understand how there is so little planning that goes into the matches being played on main stage and almost no views of side stations on stream when they seem to have the ability to do so.

Any team is gonna look good when theyre gifted seeds. Oh hey, you Americans, you cant play in our tournament but were gonna come to yours and get a better seed than your AM teams who could probably win the EU pro league.

Anything to make the game appear global.

true, they were gifted seeds. But Infused literally just beat the number 1 NA AM team and a NA pro team. They’ve proven themselves

I don’t understand the hate for EU teams at this event. They’re playing well and that’s all we can really ask for. Right?

I’ll just go back to lurking

Go back to your firm handshakes and terrific hosting.
