my guess is they dont want to give a % of their worlds winnings to an org.

He probably found another loophole in his contract

eco was teaming with ace, apg, and heinz. they won last years LCQ.

He was teaming with them then. But they qualified through NA Regionals just like every other team.

I think this is a full list. Only did NA and EU.

I feel like @Moses_FPS after making this

For "Made in 2016 but not 2017" you missed:

- Swift Kill

- Assault

- Hysteria

I didn't know if I wanted to include them since they stopped playing/didn't try for HWC17

@@Moses_FPS what team won the LCQ last year and who was on the roster?

There was no LCQ last year for Worlds. Every team qualified through their regions LAN event.

There was an LCQ for the first Pro League season. Liquid and Optic both won that.

Liquid - Assault, Spartan, Stellur, Eco

Optic - Maniac, Naded, Ace, Str8 Sick

No a solo q playlist would prevent soloqers from filling teams with incomplete parties

Fair enough. I suppose there is a big enough distinction.

I just find it weird that he's struggling so much with this when the answer, atleast in theory, is so obvious.

His theory seems like it'll be similar to party restrictions most of the time, but will be flexible to aim for similar chances of winning even if the population cant support matching by party size.

Have you read all of Menke's posts? In the past few months, Menke has laid out multiple solutions, including your beloved "simple solution" and elaborated on the pros and cons of them.

Odd that pnda would even allow them to leave unless they had no contract

As mentioned before, I'm sure cratos found another loop hole

Why they wouldn't go for the extra salary though ? They are going to worlds, they got the pro seed, I am sure they could strike a good bargain with an org.

Because org salaries are like min wage and will take 5-15% (depending on negotiations) of worlds money.

I don't know the prize breakdown of worlds placing but do the math, its probably not worth it. 343/ESL or whoever will also be covering travel I think.

There was a Last Chance Qualifier for NA Regionals, which was won by OpTic (Flamesword, Maniac, Lifestyle, Chaser).
