Who would have thought that Donald J. Trump, author of the negotiator's handbook Art of the Deal, a man with so much knowledge about the North Korea situation that he didn't even need to prepare,  and the man with one of the greatest memories of all time could have possibly been fleeced into giving up military drills with the South Koreans in exchange for nothing?

Who could have foreseen this?

This is a good outcome.

The modern-day 'social justice warrior' looks to government for justice, begging for politicians to introduce new 'laws' and 'legislation' to encourage equality and fairness in society. But asking government, the biggest mass murderer and violator of human rights in all of recorded history, to dispense justice is akin to asking a rapist to console rape victims.

The government doesn't care about justice, fairness, or equality - it is the biggest violator of all those things and commits grave acts of injustice on a daily basis.

The modern-day social justice warrior is a confused, frightened, and disempowered child who, rather than looking within for answers, is almost wholly reliant upon the government to fix whatever he feels is wrong with society. The government isn't just his provider and protector, however, the government is the social justice warrior's saviour.

Imagine what the government would do if those 'social justice warriors' didn't exist. The social justice warrior does not like the government, which is why they have the goal to pressure the government's institutions as much as they can to serve ordinary working people.

When everybody does this, there is liberty and the government fears the people. When no body does it, the government tramples on you and the people fear the government. France has a social justice culture and the government fears them, unlike you cowardly Americans.

Decrying a social movement that forces the government not to tread on the people as somehow expanding the tyranny of government is as doublethink as you can get.

I'll never boycott lower prices. As long as the product is good, I don't care what Chick Fil A thinks of gay people, I'll eat their chicken.

People are so soft.

My best friend is gay and even he was like "Why should I care if they dislike Gay people? They're foods good". That's the kinda way most people should think. I judge on quality, not some moral high ground reason that nobody truly gives a fuck about your opinion on.

I "boycott" Walmart because I can afford to not go there. Last time me and my wife moved we went there to get all the new shit we needed in one swoop. Absolute mistake.

I just moved cross country and my wife will be here in a few days. Will probably amazon everything rather than stepping foot in that absolute hellhole again.I won't go as far as saying that the Walmart heirs should have their wealth redistributed but seriously, F*** that place. There is nothing there that is even worth cruising past the parking lot for.

Chick fil a on the other hand.....would totally wait in a long line for that.

Id turn u into a soggy meat pie and shove my cock so far into your mouth you’d vomit and I’d thoroughly... thoroughly enjoy the experience. If it makes me gay, it’d be worth it to listen to you choke on a mans penis.

I think I like people editing political videos to sound inappropriate better than actually watching political videos.

It's all fun and games until enough people who dislikes gays and discriminates them vote for anti gay politicians who enact discriminatory laws.

I'm not scared of the whole two people who don't like gays in America. But yes this is why the government should be small enough where it can't hurt groups.

I am more worried that businesses, organization, and churches will be bullied by the sjw crowd and face the threat of government force. As that is what is actually happening.

Or we can discuss this dystopian fantasy world where the majority of Americans suddenly HATE homosexuals and are able to use the government as a club against them.

I know you weren't talking to me, but of course, they can sell whatever shirts they want, even if I think it is dumb. People also can boycott if they want.

It is in no way similar to the chick fil a boycotts because Walmart is currently selling something that is controversial therefore it impacts their business. Chick fil a's owners hold traditional Christian views on marriage, but it doesn't affect their company at all.

Leave companies alone, and especially don't attack a company because of what their owners believe when it doesn't affect their business practice.

You are deliberately downplaying the level of homophobia in America and it's impact on the safety of gender/sexuality non-conforming people who suffer every year from hate crimes. You're not scared because you're simply not those people.

You are more worried about the rights of the non-government sector to discriminate against anyone they please because freedom?

We had a world like that. It was called pre-civil rights act 1965. Where we had gay conversion 'therapy', black drinking fountains and private real estate racial segregation policies. At both the individual level and the government (both lead into each other).

Most if not all of the western world's history has used hatred of homosexuals as an excuse to use the state to persecute them. It is hardly a far flung fantasy that regressive ideologies and ideas can reemerge, become popular at the collective level and then begin the persecution again. Russia is a real world example of this happening with Putin implementing popular laws right now that destroy gay people's civil rights and freedom of expression. So now this 'dystopian fantasy world' is right here, right now.

I am not downplaying it, it simply isn't a big problem. According to the FBI, there was 6,063 "hate-crimes" in 2016, of those, only 17% were based on sexual orientation.

Also, we were talking about discrimination from the government and companies, not hate crimes. America is not a deeply homophobic country.

Beyond that, yes, of course, companies should be able to deny business to gay people. They should be able to deny business to tall people if they want. Just don't be surprised when you get boycotted or a competitor in the free market caters to the group you discriminated against. It's America, you can be a jerk without the government pointing a gun at you. Churches and organizations should be free to live by their values as long as they are not actively hurting anyone.

As you briefly mentioned the government itself had discriminatory laws against black people so it was hardly a free market where companies could easily choose not to segregate. In addition to that fact, I'll admit, it was a dark time in American history not really comparable to now. Homosexuals should have the same rights as everyone else. Those rights do not include forcing companies to serve you.

Of course places like Russia or the middle east SUCK for gay people. I'm not saying it should be illegal to be a homosexual or anything even similar to that. In fact no one in America is saying that. American culture is nothing like Russian culture or the Islamic culture of the middle east. Comparing the horrible issues in those places to the anecdotal accounts of Christian bakers not wanting to make cakes in America is insulting.
