you're the one making the claim. prove to me the left is more violent

you're right.  shouldn't have said 'fact'

it's not difficult to see all of the violent protests within the past few years and determine the origins.

Here's a couple recent ones for you, Im sure there's many more:

  • 2017 - Charlottesville, Virginia2017 Unite the Right rally. August 11-12. After Charlottesville, VA Town council voted to sell [5]a statue of Robert E. Lee and change the name from Lee Park to Emancipation park, a lawsuit was filed and a judge halted the removal of the statue for 6 months. A white nationalist group then applied for a permit to hold a rally protesting the removal and was denied. The ACLU filed a lawsuit on behalf of the White nationalist group saying the denial was an infringement on 1st amendment rights. The ACLU won the lawsuit and the rally was scheduled. As a result of the planned legal rally by the white nationalists, BLM and ANTIFA counter protestors showed up. As a result, the governor issued a state of emergency, thereby cancelling the permit to hold a rally. While police were removing the white nationalists fron the park, forcing them to intermingle and confront the BLM and ANTIFA groups, several fights broke out. Members of both groups hurled rocks, threw urine and feces on white nationalist and used tear gas and pepper spray as well, all while police watched. After several hours of fighting, James Alex Fields, Jr. drove his car into a crowd of people who were protesting against the rally, killing 32-year-old Heather D. Heyer and injuring 19 others, in what police have called a deliberate attack. [6]Fields, a 20 year old man from Ohio with alt-right beliefs, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding and one count related to leaving the scene of the wreck, according to The Associated Press. The FBI also says it is opening a civil rights investigation into the incident, together with the Department of Justice. There was multiple incidents of violent physical clashes between counter-protestors and Unite the Right rally attendees. 1 person was killed, and 2 state police died in an accidental helicopter crash. [7]

We're going to get to a time where I can't put my Texas Tech University flag out on my house because some tool-bag down the street from University of Texas (mostly Libtards) will be offended at my flag.

An education is invaluable, it's not the college's fault athletes don't take advantage of it.

yeah but they also deserve a cut of the BILLIONS of dollars that they make for the colleges. their labor is worth a lot more than just covering tuition

I'm all for athletes receiving a portion of the money, problem is not every athlete contributes equally. Best way to fix it is to have jerseys and the player receive a cut off their jersey sold and the entire team receive a percentage of all merchandise sold.

I also think education is invaluable and many of these players would not have the opportunity if not for being good at sports.

I guess I'm a little bitter b/c my degree cost me $115,000 and college athletes have a free ride b/c they are good at a sport.

I don't know what the best way distribute the money among the different sports is but no matter what they all deserve at little cut.

that's a petty thing to be bitter about. you didn't generate any money for your university (excluding tuition) so why should you get a free hand out? you're against free hand outs right? if it were up to me i would give you free community colleges and affordable private colleges so you wouldn't ever have to spend that kind of money, thus preventing you from feeling resentment towards people who are more successful than you

No I'm not bitter in that way. Just that so many kids don't take advantage of the education.

I almost would prefer college sports transitioning to an AM sports team with salaries b/c everybody knows high level sports isn't about education.

some of the guys can't take full advantage of their education bc they have to take easy bullshit general study degrees so they can focus more on their sport. then after that guy graduates he goes on and suffers a career-ending injury either before or right after he gets drafted into the league. that guy is then stuck with a useless degree and mountains of medical debt that the university [who received millions off of his labor] can no longer cover.

I played 4 years of college hockey n graduated with a professional architecture degree. Also only had a minimal housing n food scholarship.

Cant believe this is even a talking point lol

No one is forcing athletes to play. Personal responsibility is a concept you know nothing of.

You're not understanding my point at all.

First it's the Confederate flags from state buildings.

Currently, it's the confederate monuments/statues.

Next, it will be American founding monuments/statues.

Keep going on that path, and the founding of our great nation will be wiped away.

At the end of the day, the left doesn't want an America, they want a socialist global nation.

uh people will remember the history, it has been well documented. the issue with confederate pride is that (some) people seem to forget that the confederates fought to keep slavery. how can you be proud of that without being racist?

all of these are just property damage and minor injuries. the only person who died in these was a peaceful protester who was intentionally run over by an attendee of the rally.

and a lot of these protests were in response to cops murdering black people so if that stops happening there will be a lot fewer protests

I got a question.

Why didn't the media ask Obama to condemn BLM after cops were killed in the name of BLM? Seems a little hypocritical. Instead he backed BLM and added more racial tension.

Am league would be where its at.

The NFL contributes to this and so does the nba because of their college rules. Clarett could have been a star but had to sit out and get caught up by stupid shit. Almost entirely his fault but those rules kept him from going pro earlier on. I'm sure there are countless other examples but that one always stuck with me.
