Scalzo Posted August 4, 2017 15.5k trannsgenders in the military but they're too mentally crazy to serve or work There are 21,995,000 to 12,329,000 goverment workers 15.5k is a very small minority. We need to cut as many as possible seeing as most of the gov employees are massivley incompetent 1 Share this post Link to post

Rick Posted August 4, 2017 no, i don't actually. i just honestly don't believe Trump will run for reelection once his term is up. I can agree with this, especially if he is not a popular President by then. He doesn't seem like the kind of man who would run if it was obvious he would lose. He will also be 75 years old. 1 Share this post Link to post

You have to govern for all of your people, even those that dislike you, and his current approach makes that very hard to do. His approval ratings are pretty appalling, and I can't see what would make them improve. I really doubt he would run in 2020 and to be honest I am not entirely sure that he himself wants to continue until then. Share this post Link to post

NoGreaterHeresy Posted August 4, 2017 You and anyone else who thought he had no chance of beating Hillary think he likely won't run/win again? I'm shocked! Lol I thought he had a pretty good chance of beating her, actually. The campaign was pretty up and down for both of them but I think really the fatal mistake was made the minute she was chosen as the Dem candidate. They underestimated the power of populism completely and they paid for it. But, like Rick said, Trump is an old dude, so I think that would factor into it. Also, is this whole thing really going well for him? Really? He doesn't look like he's enjoying it. He said himself that it's a lot more work than he thought it would be and it seems like he's pretty demoralised. Share this post Link to post
gporter Posted August 4, 2017 I'm still surprised why he would want to be president in the first place, but cmon even I thought he was gonna lose and I voted for him. The media made it seem nearly impossible for him to win! Share this post Link to post
NoGreaterHeresy Posted August 4, 2017 I'm still surprised why he would want to be president in the first place, but cmon even I thought he was gonna lose and I voted for him. The media made it seem nearly impossible for him to win! I guess the whole Corbyn project over here in the UK has taught me that a) the media is more out of touch with normal people than ever and b) if people want something they will get it eventually. You can see the "Trump effect" taking place here with Corbyn, although of course the politics are different. I'm still convinced that Trump's plan was to lose narrowly but in the process of campaigning massively increase his exposure and popularity with the US television audience. He gets to influence the agenda of the Clinton administration via the media and reaps the rewards of his increased popularity via his many investments. Kind of like how the idiots pushing Brexit over here panicked and ran when people lost their senses and voted for it - they didn't want to win, because Brexit is a stupid and incredibly complicated idea. But they thought that a narrow loss would increase their political standing or force leadership challenges within the Tory party. Share this post Link to post

Scalzo Posted August 6, 2017 https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1d2_1501885679 If you ever question why cops do the things they do, remember that they have an incredibly dangerous job, which is as high stress as any but with much less pay. 2 Share this post Link to post

Its a shame, but it is what it is. Thankfully these cameras exist to keep bad cops in check. There are bad employees in any field. These are two completely different points tho, irrelavent to each other. But I wouldnt expect you to be able to see the difference and not to get throttled/triggered by the medias narrative. And yes, being a cop is one of the most dangerous professions, obviously the anxiety level is through the roof, you wouldnt last a day on the beat. Thank you for the interesting article. But I wouldnt expect you to be able to see the difference and not to get throttled/triggered by the medias narrative. i understand that there are bad employees in every field but in a field that wields so much power, "it is what it is" isn't an acceptable answer. they let too many dumbasses become cops. this is second time in a few weeks that a Baltimore PD cop was caught planting evidence. imagine how many times other cops have planted evidence before they had the cameras And yes, being a cop is one of the most dangerous professions, obviously the anxiety level is through the roof, you wouldnt last a day on the beat. Thank you for the interesting article. i know i wouldn't and that's why i didn't become a cop. but they chose to become cops so if they can't handle it, that's on them. I'm not going to pretend that they deserve praise for doing the job they signed up for that is also, in terms of deaths-per-year, less dangerous than many other jobs. here's a great story about 2 good cops and a lot of bad ones https://theintercept.com/2016/10/06/in-the-chicago-police-department-if-the-bosses-say-it-didnt-happen-it-didnt-happen/ Share this post Link to post
