HCS Pro League Fall 2016 Teams, Seeds, and Discussion‏

Recommended Posts

You ever been to Vegas? It's on Freemont Street. Old Vegas. OG Vegas. I go twice a year and I spend 99% of my time here. Infinitely more fun than "The Strip". Better casinos, lower minimums, more entertainers. I guess it's all perspective but still.

For those who have heard of "Heart Attack Cafe", the burger stop with the Triple Bypass Burger and those over 300 pounds eat free...it's in the same venue. I'd hardly consider this cheaping out by ESL. Stop being a downer, this is fucking awesome.

Note: it's a fifteen minute cab or Uber ride that will cost you 10 bucks to get to "The Strip"...which...if you're in Vegas, is chump change.

woosh

pro league has rules against purposely tanking matches

they also have rules against making roster changes between transfer periods, but that doesn't seem to stop anyone

Remember when you and your friends would laugh about people crouching around corners with shotguns in the Halo 3 Team Slayer playlist and how that would never work in the MLG playlist... ugh.

Don't think so. Ace confirmed that he was their coach on HCS Now and don't see him going to start an OpTic Nation squad for OC. Wouldn't be that surprised if he had a team for say an open LAN event like UCG or HCS Orange County, but beyond that I don't see a dedicated OpTic Nation squad or even something he does on his own.

Considering FS' "coaching style" I really don't see how running an Open Circuit team would be a conflict....

At least not until relegation.

Here's the first episode of The Gauntlet! There are still a thousand things I need to work on, but here's a little teaser of what's to come with this series. I originally planned on doing an hour long video once a week where I'd cover an entire series, but quickly realized that not all of the games were entertaining to watch. So, for now, I'm hoping to release several shorter videos that each cover a single game from a series. By doing this, I can cover a variety of games from different teams.

As always, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Great video, but is there any chance you could have the team logo and player names be translucent and highlight the player name you're viewing? The really small viewing % area is kinda distracting

Thanks for uploading. You're a beast. I hope you don't take the posts that are criticizing the shotgun crouching as criticism of you. People are just upset with features like radar that create gameplay like this. Nobody is upset with you for taking advantage of the brokenness of the game; that's your job, after all. We all know you could probably compete at the top in any halo game. Anyway, please upload more :)

Man, imagine how boring the pro circuit in that game would have been if they had removed radar.

Literally the best Halo video I've seen since 2008.

Only suggest would be to reduce the side and bottom panels to allow more game space.

trying two days with both. Lol not strange

It's strange given that, you know, you had a set roster with Stellur and aren't saying anything about what's going on

What this kid says.

Blows anything in recent memory that I have seen out of the water. The fact that you did in depth player routes/overviews THAT MOVE, when spectator mode in the game doesn't even have that functionality is really cool and I can only imagine how much time it took.

I'm the biggest fan of the aerial shots and wish there was a way in game to get a god's eye view of the players.

Thank you for including it, recapping the opening. I imagine that was just pure grunt work on your part of watching each players opening and recapping over an image with the symbols?

That was hands down the best Halo video I've seen in a long time. This video is exactly what we need after every series during Fall League or LAN events, only show parts which direction all players went, how did they block spawns, etc. That will help viewers understand tremendously.

Some feedbacks I have is if possible, make the panels on left/right/bottom little bit smaller so gameplay screen is bigger. On bottom panel, instead of putting like sniper can kill an enemy with a headshot, put both team's record on that certain map/gametype, both team's overall record against each other, which player usually performs the best on that map/gametype. It will help viewers understand which team/player usually shines on that map/gametype.

Keep up the great work, this is absolutely fantastic. I will watch every single one of these videos guaranteed.
