Mad respect snakebite! You are a legend, lucky the mechanics of the game worked out for you. It didn't for 2gre and many others. It's really a shame to lose talent like that.

Yeah, it's a real bummer that the mechanics didn't work out for Naded, Lunchbox, Roy, Heinz, Snipedown, Pistola, Ace, and Victory X.

Wait.

Been doing this since 09 brother. Nothing to do with mechanics working out for me. Eventually everyones time comes to and end when it comes to competing. Don't blame the game for people shifting their focus toward real life goals

My original point and the reason for my post is how sad it is to see so many vets from EU hitting the bottom of the league, and hearing about them not even trying I think just speaks more to how this esport is doing than it is just some guy trolling.  Seeing that happen in NA (veterans getting pushed to the bottom\ out of the league) has sucked as well.

You point about having to leave the scene to focus on "real life goals" kinda implies that this isn't worthwhile for veterans, which is a bummer.

This has nothing to do with the state of H5 though. We've seen veterans drop out every rendition since H2. It's just something that happens.

@@SnakeBite you always deliver the quality posts man. Such a cool dude.

@@SnakeBite is a consummate professional. I'm never dissatisfied when Optic wins an event because I know how much time and effort he puts into Halo. He truly cares about the game, his teammates, and the community itself.

You know how I can get in contact with them???

i used to know the esports manager but she got a job with ubisoft

you could try this and click on "Want to join Team YP? Click here to fill out an application."

http://www.teamyp.com/contact/

also fyi youporn is banned by ESL so i doubt they would sign a halo team

So what's this EU drama?

Why were VWS trolling?

the match meant nothing for them since they didn't qualify, so they threw the match.  Probably not the best move, but the format allows for these essentially meaningless matches.

Well that sucks.

Props to Simms and crew for making the most of the commentary though during a difficult situation. The series was horrible, but they kept it entertaining. Kudos.

The top 2 Open Circuit teams qualify for Relegation, where they'll meet the bottom 2 Pro League teams.

Relegation is a 4 team DE bracket where the WB Finals and LB Finals winners qualify for the next season of Pro League and can make two roster changes prior to the season while retaining their spot.

Here's last season's relegation bracket, which resulted in Optic and Liquid keeping their spots. These spots ended up being the LOL and LG rosters in the League today.

Theoretically, if Allegiance gets relegated they'd be playing in Open Circuit, but more likely you'd just see the team split up and (some of) the players get picked up by Pro League teams.

But what confuses me is what is happening in regards to the 'Pro League' next season. Does relegation actually matter this season? Because if theres no PL after Fall season then what is the purpose of having relegation.

My thoughts is that it will be for seeding for a LAN event perhaps?

VwS started to troll because they felt like they had nothing to play for.

Also sorry for being somewhat of a bad sport on Twitter. GG Vibe, I am a massive twat. Not as big of a twat as Mose, but close.
