ayy CouRage Posted June 3, 2013 I'd like to be the one to say I think we can all agree that Ironman 3 was disappointing. I didn't want to see a comedy... 2 Share this post Link to post
CyReN Posted June 3, 2013 Iron 3 wasn't bad, just ok. Enjoyed the hell out of the new Star Trek more. 2 1 Share this post Link to post
Maxyyyyy Posted June 3, 2013 I remember walking into the theater to see Hangover 3 and I told myself "This movie will be very meh". I was absolutely right. After seeing the movie my friends and I all just went "meh, it was okay". 1 Share this post Link to post
Vertigo Posted June 3, 2013 I'm a bit of a comic nerd, so when comic book movies became a "thing" with Blade and Spider-Man I had to take a standpoint to view the films as just another story arc. But I did enjoy the hell out of Iron Man 3, I thought it was a fun flick. I saw Star Trek Into Darkness over the weekend, and that was absolutely epic which in turn spawned a need to watch Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock. I would still like to see Fast and Furious 6, but if I miss out on that Man of Steel and Monster's University are next on mine and the wife's summer movie list. Share this post Link to post
VeryUncouth Posted June 3, 2013 Iron Man 3 was pretty good. I liked the Villains power, I also liked seeing Potts kick some ***. Star Trek Into Darkness was epic, I didn't think Spock could fight that well. I'm gonna be going to see Fast and Furious 6 today I'm pretty sure, I've heard it's the best in the series so we shall see. Share this post Link to post
iRGush Posted June 4, 2013 I'm gonna be going to see Fast and Furious 6 today I'm pretty sure, I've heard it's the best in the series so we shall see. Fast was really good I'm want to see the purge but not totally sure, seems like it might be really bad or really good 1 Share this post Link to post
Reason Posted June 4, 2013 Star Trek Into Darkness is very fun and entertaining, but the script is not good at all. Orci, Kurtzman and Lindelof had three years and there was no real reason for Cumberbatch to be _______. Fast & Furious 6 though, I enjoyed the fuck out of that movie. Share this post Link to post
CyReN Posted June 4, 2013 Haven't done this in awhile so here are some of the movies I've watched lately: Shame - 8/10 Star Trek Into Darkness - 9/10 Iron Man 3 - 8 Behind the Candelabra - 9.5/10 Need to see in theaters: Mud Fast and the furious 6 The Great Gatsby Now You See Me (may hold of until dvd) Still need to finish: Cloud Atlas Lawless Hitchcock Maniac Moonshine Kingdom Share this post Link to post
Reason Posted June 4, 2013 Films I've watched/rewatched in the past week: High Fidelity, Swingers, Rounders, Junebug, The Informant!, Out of Sight, The Good Shepherd. Those first three films still hold up; Cusack is just great in Fidelity and John Malkovich's "Russian" accent in Rounders is still amazing. Out of Sight is like one of my all-time favorite films; love that Soderbergh, one of my favorite directors. Can't wait to finish my Soderbergh retrospective so I can watch Side Effects and Behind the Candelabra. Share this post Link to post
EagleBurn Posted June 4, 2013 Fast and the furious 6 Now You See Me (may hold of until dvd) You should go see Now You See Me. It was surprisingly good. And if you enjoyed Fast 5, you'll like Fast 6. Share this post Link to post

heytred Posted June 4, 2013 I just watched Primer twice yesterday, a low-budget 2004 film about time travel. Fucking fantastic, especially considering the $7000 budget. It's on Netflix if anyone wants their mind to be blown. Share this post Link to post

iRGush Posted June 6, 2013 Anyone seen Now You See Me? If so, is it any good? I saw it a couple days ago, its pretty good. Script seems like an uphill battle at times but I still thought it was a solid movie. Share this post Link to post

Vertigo Posted June 6, 2013 Watched Jack Reacher last night, pretty much went into it with no expectations and was pretty damn well entertained throughout the 2 hour run time. I'd give it a watch if you haven't seen it. 2 1 Share this post Link to post
Opinion Posted June 6, 2013 Hangover 3 was more of an action movie than a traditional Hangover... 2/5 Share this post Link to post
Cold As Life Posted June 8, 2013 Iron 3 wasn't bad, just ok. Enjoyed the hell out of the new Star Trek more. Iron man 3 was entertaining, but I didn't like how everyone and their mother was able to use the suits. Felt like it devalued Iron man. Share this post Link to post
