I assumed any normal human being who isn't scum would have already had Ivan's Childhood

I do not reside in the New England/Boston area.

I was gonna buy a few this time around but opted out. I wanna see what that new FilmStruck service has in their library first. Criterion Collection debuts on that platform pretty soon, I think.

Weird, still no Ivan's Childhood or The Dekalog

Ban yourself.

odd indeed.

Probably will get the Tati set before either tbh because I'm scum.

I've never bought anything from Criterion before but I'm definitely considering picking up a couple of the following: McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Rashomon, The Seventh Seal, Eraserhead, Red River, and My Darling Clementine.

Nocturnal Animals was great. The narrative was pretty interesting and actually extremely coherent for how often it jumps around. Between this, Nightcrawler, Prisoners, and to a slightly lesser extent Enemy and Source Code (and even going back to Zodiac), I feel Jakey G has like carved out his own thriller niche and I absolutely love it

Has Bong Joon-ho's (The HostSnowpiercer) Okja on Netflix next year with Tilda Swinton and Paul Dano.

Life looks pretty derivative though.
