Reason Posted June 1, 2015 Cam was so bad last year, so lets give him 100mil!!!! Bad ankles, bad bad bad oline (4 UDFAs), no weapons outside of Olson and rookie Kelvin. Market value tho Quote Share this post Link to post
amo819 Posted June 1, 2015 I'm pretty sure Cam was rated number 8 last season by PFF with all the problems they had in Carolina. Not bad imo Quote Share this post Link to post
bjirvine Posted June 1, 2015 Top 5 quarterback money is turning into top 10 quarterback money. Soon half the league's quarterbacks will be making $20 mil per. Quote Share this post Link to post

bjirvine Posted June 1, 2015 Dalton ruined everything! The market would have gotten there eventually. But his contract might have sped up the process. Quote Share this post Link to post
VeryUncouth Posted June 2, 2015 Anyone here think Tannehill deserves his new contract? Quote Share this post Link to post
-AK Posted June 2, 2015 Deserves? Probably not, but in today's NFL you are generally stuck with what you have at the QB position. A bottom feeding team would pay Tannehil the same amount so you might as well pay it and keep your guy. I feel like this is a problem most front offices in the league are facing right now.. bjirvine Posted June 2, 2015 It's still a wait and see on whether or not he deserves it. I will say it's a good deal for both sides as it affords Tannehill security with the guaranteed money and the Dolphins flexibility given that they can move on from him at any time after 2016. Scalzo Posted June 2, 2015 So what you guys are all saying is that Cutlers deal isn't looking sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad now. Rite? Quote Share this post Link to post
bjirvine Posted June 2, 2015 So what you guys are all saying is thst Cutlers deal isn't looking sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad now. Rite? If he plays like the 10th best quarterback in the league, the price will be right. Last year he was literally the worst starting quarterback in the league according to PFF. The good news is he probably couldn't have another season like that if he tried. Hopefully he can bounce back. Quote Share this post Link to post
VeryUncouth Posted June 2, 2015 Just looking at the size of the Bears WR's. If Cutler made some of them jump balls he'd probably complete more passes, everyone he's gonna be throwing to this year seems to be 6'3" and taller. Quote Share this post Link to post

Reason Posted June 5, 2015 We saved $6 mil on a player who has had surgeries every season. He was very up and down, but he was a beast on his good days. He hasn't fully retired "take a year or so off", but he'll be on the team's retired/reserved list. Staley-Brandon Thomas-Kilgore-Marcus Martin-Boone most likely. https://twitter.com/PFF/status/606934278862196737 Quote Share this post Link to post
