Halo Series to iOS & Android?

Recommended Posts

There’s been rumor speculating for some time now about the Halo series coming to iOS. Today Microsoft announced it will be bringing games from it’s PC and Xbox library to Android and iOS starting with Age of the Empires. On top of that news they also said other titles would follow. So could we be seeing Halo on those devices? It’s certainly possible.

Through a licensing deal, Klab will bring Microsoft’s Xbox and Windows-based computer games to the iPhone and smartphones using Google Inc’s Android operating system, according to the Nikkei. Microsoft’s “Age of the Empires” will be available as a free-to-play game worldwide on smartphones by the end of the fiscal year 2013 and other titles will follow, the report said.

Not sure how I feel about this. Halo is was a very enjoyable skilled shooter. Porting it to iOS or Android could sully the experience of the game for me. Obviously I don't have to buy it, but still.

No problems with this, widening the Halo community would excellent.

I can see Halo: Spartan Assault being released to different platforms.

These ports are probably just story, not multiplayer. So if you dont even touch story and dont care for it, it doesnt even affect you.

Personally, I think it's dope. Carry my iPad and play through CE-whatever.
