ASTRO Spartans: Looking Ahead to Halo 5: Guardians.

Today we are excited to announce that we will be extending our tournament schedule with ASTRO Gaming. Currently, we host “ASTRO Spartans” Halo Tournaments once per month on TeamBeyond.net, all of which are free to enter for the community to participate in, and feature a minimum of a $500 prize pool.
 

 
Starting in November, we will be hosting an ASTRO Spartans Halo 5: Guardians Tournament once every week. This will be an increase of one ASTRO Spartans Halo Tournament per month, to FOUR ASTRO Spartans Tournaments per month. You can check out some of the details below.
 
Dates (Day of the week): To Be Announced
Frequency: One Tournament per week.
Prizing: $200 Prize Pool every week & Premium ASTRO Gaming Products.
Entry: FREE!
Game: Halo 5: Guardians.
Format: 1v1 & 2v2.
 
 
We are also excited to announce that every week, a live broadcast will be accompanying each ASTRO Spartans Halo event. Matches will be broadcasted and commentated LIVE on Twitch.tv/TeamBeyondnet. These broadcasts will feature familiar commentators that the Halo community have come to know and love, and feature matches between some of the best Halo players in the world.

Will the same settings that are in HCS be used, or will the setting be completely community driven? obviously its gonna 1v1/2v2 so the settings won't be exactly the same, but I wanted to know how the matches will look and everything.

Thats pretty much the idea. Nobody wants to buy a team pass for an online tournament, doesnt work anymore.

would be interesting to see if, for example, the two players in the final ended up in the same team for 2v2's, and I guess the reverse is also possible.

 

can I expect the semi-finals/finals to be uploaded to beyond's youtube channel? the connection here is inconsistent, and I don't know if I would be capable of watching the streams because of my schedule and everything.
