Teamshooting is the end all be all in H5, and it has been that way since H2 due to the individual being gimped by the game mechanics.

It really isn't in Halo 5, which you'd know if you had touched Halo 5 at all.

And it really hasn't been in past Halos...but it's okay for you to think that because the individual was weak in H3 and Bloom Reach.

Teamshooting is useful and important for winning against organized teams, yes.

Teamshooting has evolved somewhat due to the weakness of the individual, yes.

But...Teamshooting has also evolved due to teamwork evolving -- players better understand how to position to be in range to immediately help a teammate now.  Players better understand how to COMMUNICATE in order to prepare to help a teammate.  Players better understand how to bait and switch or brute force more than they did in Halo's infancy.

However, Individual battles still exist, and they are a LOT more prevalent in H5 than they have been in past Halos.

But to say teamshooting is the only form of teamwork or even only bit of necessary execution in a game of competitive Halo is blindly ignorant to what's actually going on in the course of a game.  I somewhat hint at the different aspects of teamwork beyond teamshooting in one of my blogs, but even that is limited and doesn't fully address what all is going on in a game.

Players have been forced into this due to the limitations that the game places on them. If we were still playing with a utility weapon that has a 0.6 second kill time and no defensive movement options, teamshooting never would have taken off like it did. We may actually still see more complicated strategies being executed which require players to spread around the map instead of clustering in one spot.

Halo 5's mechanics do nothing to alleviate this issue. I do not need to play or watch any gameplay footage to know this.
