  1. False. It is not 'wrong', but ineffective in leading things toward the desired outcome. There is no right or wrong in this situation. I simply be playing a game of semantics at this point but I find comprehension to be key. Also, low sales figures is not the only thing that will lead to the desired result. Most probable? Perhaps. But not the only thing.
  2. Hey man, I'm just trying to be a bit realistic here. I have a strong dislike for this as much as the next guy, but is it inherently wrong to try and work with what is given?
  3. What if.... What if you could only ever sprint in a straight line? Any slight movement in any direction causes you to stop. Therefore, no running around a corner to get away, you're literally a sitting duck for skilled players as you can't like, zig zag to avoid shots. It'd make sprint circumstantial in a possible situation for instance, that maybe your teammate has died and the power weapon they held is straight ahead so you have a chance to possibly make it before the opponent, and not OP since you can't run around corners or turn in ANY direction in the SLIGHTEST. Oh, and maybe there's a 2 second or so down time before you actually start sprinting. Choosing to sprint will sacrifice 2 seconds of being able to do anything productive besides running in a straight line. Idk, just spitballing here.
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMFfzBQS0tc&feature=youtu.be I like this key point made: Despite claims that the game is getting 'CoDified,' this game isn't targeted toward Halo players, OR CoD players. It's targeted toward eSports. It may not be H: CE or H2, but it seems to me it could fit in eSports and be competitive.
  5. Greetings everyone, I'm Haji. I'm a 19 year old gamer from Brooklyn, NYC and I've been playing Halo competitively since the end of 2010. I've played Halo since about 08-ish I believe, but I played straight social and knew nothing of competitive gaming. In 2010 I joined a clan called Death Squad, and a few of their players were really darn good. One of them sorta became a mentor to me in the ways of Halo, I suppose haha. Started playing the MLG playlist, learned of the MLG tournaments and began watching them since uhhhh, whatever the second event was that instinct won that year, I missed the first. Skip a few months, I start playing Reach and started out playing it competitively. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it out to an event all throughout Reach's lifespan due to all of the people I've teamed with, for the most part, never really working out. But yeah, it's unfortunate that I can no longer put in as much time as I used to, to game, due to being a working man now and classes and all that other jazz. But I'm really looking forward to possibly making my way out to MCC events and competing. I absolutely love the competitive gaming scene and I'd love to, in the future, be able to put myself in some sort of niche within the industry. A man can dream, can't he? Haha. But anyways, I've been a lurker on and off ever since THC. I may have made an account or two before, but yeah never posted on any of them, or remembered them long enough for me to do so. So yeah, I'm finally out fo the shadows, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all once MCC drops.
