  1. Investing resources into a completely dead game that isn't going to bring people who left back to the scene... Y'all can call this a good faith gesture if you want, you can be happy that it might finally be playable 3-4 years after release- but this is just the newest dumb decision in the chain of colossal fuck-ups by 343.

Their offensive scheme needs an overhaul, specifically their passing game is way, way too reliant on the deep ball, and Carson has been shorting deep throws since pre-season which is pretty concerning. They have 3 talented WRs and a great RB(possibly the best in the league right now tbh), there is no reason their offense should be so boom or bust. Look at the Eagles offense, they have far less talent on the field and yet are extremely successful, and that's largely due to scheme. Wentz has played well, but the scheme is not getting anywhere near the credit it deserves; primary reads are open at an alarmingly high rate, screens are consistently picking up 15+ yards, deep balls are called just enough to keep the defense honest and open up the intermediate routes. If the Cardinals were running the same scheme, they would be virtually unstoppable to be frank- luckily this is not the case.

I'm kinda concerned with how bad the Dallas o-line has been at run blocking thus far... Missed assignments, poor execution when they get the assignments right, getting pushed into the backfield... This is some sloppy play. Look at 1:09. Zack martin blocks a guy into the hole and basically tackles zeke, meanwhile collins is just lost. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMYrd2DjXTA

Did a 12 team parlay for the lulz, put almost no thought into it since I normally don't start this until week 5 due to how unpredictable weeks 1-4 are imo.
  10. Feels good to have football back. What a fucking game. A fucking extra point blocked to the house to tie the game, what the actual fuck.

Curious to hear what Teddy's injury actually is... I can't remember a time when an ACL required an ambulance to show up.

So my draft recap from Saturday: We play with IDPs, so I usually stash a ton of boom or bust picks(usually rookie WRs) on the bench that I think could be monsters... Also, I got fucked with the 13th pick, round 1 and 2 were basically the 27th and 30th picks of the draft for me... RIP Qb: Palmer, Cutler(same bye week sucks, but injury insurance really. I'm hoping Kap returns as starter, his week 9 matchup is vs the terrible saints D) RB: David Johnson, Lesean Mccoy, Ameer Abdullah, Kenneth Dixon WR: Jordy Nelson, Donte Moncrief, John Brown, Tyler Lockett, Torrey Smith, Michael Thomas, Tyler Boyd, Kendall Wright, Jaelen Strong(I took him with the second to last pick in a 14 team, 24 round draft.....) TE: Dwayne Allen(yes, 1 TE. I plan on making a waiver claim after some of the pre-season shakes out[fuck early drafts]). K: Vinatieri D: Bengals LB: Ryan Shazier and Eric Kendricks DB: Ronald Darby and Byron Jones(expecting jones to produce more in his natural FS position) DL: Calais Campbell and Cameron Heyward All things considered, I think I did pretty well. 14 teams + keepers is a huge pain in the ass. I begged them to reduce the starter count to maybe 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE, 1 Flex TE/WR/RB to make things a little smoother... but nope. 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE and 1 Flex. Looking at the other rosters I would say mine is clearly one of the top 3.

That was how I wanted to do it, but no. You just nominate a keeper, then the draft starts as normal with everyone's keeper out of the pool. Also yeah i'm not thrilled about the draft time... we have a couple in the group having a baby due like the 20th so this was the only available time unfortunately.

David Johnson would be my keeper in place of Leveon, so no round(or I guess you could call that firdt round if you want). Our draft is saturday unfortunately, won't know draft order until then.

so i mentioned before that my keeper is leveon, and he got suspended obviously... We can chsnge a keeper due to suspension/injury until tomorrow- would you guys drop leveon in favor of david johnson? From what I can see he's going around the top 5
  16. I don't understand, I never had problems TSKing people. In fact, I loved when that happened.
  17. Patch is the second greatest, what is wrong with you guys? On the flipside, who is the second worst pro player of all time? Given that T2 is the WOAT, I would probably put Totz at #2.

I would agree, but due to a laundry list of injuries and trade moves(which netted me a 3rd place finish), I had literally no one else to take.

2013 Keeper: Julio Jones - broken foot, out for season. 2014 Keeper: Adrian Peterson - Child abuse, out for season 2015 Keeper: Tony Romo - Broken Clavicle, out for season 2016 keeper: Leveon Bell - Pot head, out for 4 weeks due to suspension after tearing up his knee... which I kept him on my roster the entire year just to keep him, after taking him with the 4th pick. Fuck my fucking life man.

This is going to be the shittiest fucking post season ever, isn't it? At leas the potential of a healthy Miami squad was promising, but now? Raps got worse, Heat got worse, ATL got worse, Boston ??? Seriously just run a 89 game series between the warriors and cavs.

That's kinda what I'm getting at. Let's use some fake numbers as an example: Cap = $100 mm Lebron Max = $30 mm X = Super Max = up to $60 mill Thereby, Lebron gets paid $60 million, but only eats up $30 million of the cap. Let's juxtapose this with, say Westbrook Cap = $100 mm Westbrook = $30mm(for arguments sake) This means the thunder could pay him up to $60mm, but would probably settle somewhere around $45-$50 So again, Westbrook eats up $30 mill of cap, but actually gets paid 45-50. The issue this would bring is for teams who strike the lotto and draft really fucking well(ie KD/WB for OKC). I say then you take a sort of "bird rights" exclusion for players who stick with the team that drafted them, meaning as long as you are with the team that drafted you, you can use a super max slot even if they are already using one. The obvious example here is again KD/WB: KD Super Max: $60 KD cap hit: $30 Then next season: WB super max $60 WB cap hit: $30 The only negatives I could see here are for the owners pocket books, but I don't give a single fuck about that, so fuck'em. Positives would be: 1. Helps small market teams retain their stars 2. Prevents star players from just joining forces 3. Increased parity 4. Not pigeon holed into sticking with a shitty org, nor stuck without a long term deal like the god awful NFL Franchise Tag
