  1. So what exactly is more appealing about a Halo 3 anniversary than what can potentially be made in Halo 5 customs?

Can't almost everything about Halo 3 be improved with H5 customs? Faster strafe, no garbage hit detection, no random BR spread, can actually kill at a distance, no host advantage, etc?

The only thing that is remotely appealing about Halo 3 is the sniper rifle.

Not as simple as that though is it? The gameplay, art style, maps are all completely different.

Also no one wants to mess about trying to find people for their custom games and its not just MP thats appealing, theres also a pretty amazing campaign and the game can be played 4 player split screen.

Not to mention Halo 3 is one of the best casual FPS games out there (probably is the best). There are plenty of reasons why a remaster of one of the most popular games ever is more appealing than Halo 5 customs.

At the end of the day H3 is the favourite Halo game to the majority of the Halo community, whether thats a popular point or not on here. So a remaster would go down pretty well. Its also a no brainer for 343 as its guaranteed easy money, even after MCC.

  2. Little late to the conversation, but the way I phrased it in my post was the exact way the information was relayed to me which could mean 2 things.

1:H3a is being being released as an add on for MCC, or

2: they're rereleasing an entirely NEW fixed MCC with H3a which is free to anyone who currently owns the first MCC.

3: #1 while also including a big bug patch for MCC.

my guess is on 2, honestly.

Wait, are these rumours or inside information that you've been told?

  3. A GTX 1060 3GB for $220 US would do you fine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137036

A Tiny bit better would be the GTX 1060 6GB for $290 US http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814127963

The 6GB  GTX 1060 actually has more CUDA Cores not just a VRAM change so it is better.

The GTX 1060 will perform like a GTX 980. Its a great  for 1080p 60fps ULTRA setting and 1080p 144fps for competitive game. A GTX 1060 on a 1080p monitor can pull off 90fps on starwars battlefront easy, plus if you tweak down  one or two settings you can over 120fps.

If you want 1070 that might be a bit much for you but you will be able to play any game no problem.

Cheers, think I'll go for the 6gb then as it's not too much more. One final thing, is that everything I'll need other than M&KB and Windows?

  4.

Alright I have a good build that doesnt have the GPU, you could buy this PC and use integrated till the new GPUs come out.

The Intel HD 530 Integrated Graphics should be able to do 720p 60fps Low on AAA titles and higher settings on less demanding games.

    CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£164.28 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: MSI B150M MORTAR Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  (£70.92 @ CCL Computers)

The new mid tier GPUs that are releasing in the next one or two months should be around £175. That should bring you to £650.

Not sure if you have Windows, M&KB, Monitor, and Headset. If you are over budget You can sacrifice the CPU cooler, if you're still low sacrifice the SSD. Those are the only two that wont damage the integrity or gaming performance of the build.

Hi man, I've got my money saved and I'm ready to buy all the parts for my PC. What GPU do you recommend I put on this build? Also once I've added the GPU what performance will I be looking at?

  5. There's no doubles. No social slayer. No multi team. No action sack. No actual social. The "competitive playlist" has radar. There's no party restrictions in ranked. No community maps list. No classic list. No snipers. BTB is all forge maps.

The management is pretty much as bad as it can possibly be. It's nowhere near good. The playlist management is probably the worst thing about the entire game.

Exactly, this is one of, if not the biggest problem with H5.

  6. I'm worried about it being too easy to shoot. BF4 has it right, felt like it took some skill to aim, but BFH and Battlefront felt really dumbed down.

To me it looks more like BFH and Battlefront, hope I'm wrong though because everything else looks seriously good.
