  1. Right, but you are talking weapons. We do not know if the aim assist hidden stat is effected by the scope you choose. I think it is, but I don't see proof just because guns by themselves have that stat. I agree with you, but it would be nice if those statistics could be datamined by someone at planetdestiny. That way we know if the scopes themselves have an effect and how much. I also wonder if hammer forged, send it, and range finder effect the hidden stat.
  2. My game of the year of 2014 was Call of Duty: Ghosts and second place Titanfall. Anticipation: COD, Halo, BF, Doom, Destiny Comet, Titanfall 2...basically I have no idea at this point.
  3. I must admit I did this, too. Also, when family pack gold first came out it had no limit and I made new gamertags like crazy.
  4. I would like to get back some of my old accounts that I sold or traded during Halo 3. :/ Also, when I moved from original xbox to 360 I did not know my information to transfer the account.
  5. I want cold war era or modern. I thought Black Ops 1 was Treyarch's best COD. I would want that style of game with better hit detection, lag comp, and graphics. I don't get the nostalgia for World at War because it doesn't add up. Without zombies that game was a flop, and Treyarch wasn't even taken seriously by the core community until Black Ops.
  6. I am very happy they made shotguns viable in PVE. I actually dismantled all my shotguns at one point because I did not see any reason in keeping them. I even dismantled Universal Remote which means I had to buy a new one, but I did since Xur sold it this weekend. Since patch I've heard some people say they are too good and lowering the need for heavy, but shotguns now reward an aggressive play style. I wouldn't want it any other way.
  7. It's not going to happen. They want to keep playlist player count high which is why they have so few choices in playlist variety. Adding ranks would further segment players. The majority of Destiny players only play crucible for exotic bounties or iron banner (even people who generally play PVP in Halo and COD). According to Bungie there already is a ranking system, but it is hidden from us. I think Destiny PVP is complete garbage and there are a lot of issues with the core game mechanics and engine that I would like them to fix first: remove sprint cooldown, lower autoaim (especially headshot angle), improve accuracy while shooting in the air, lower drift guard, penalize death, increase framerate, and improve netcode. Honestly, with all the random lunging, blinking, and jumping I feel like this game needs 120 FPS....alright I'll settle for 60 FPS. Seriously though, 30 FPS worked with Halo because it has solid mechanics that didn't involve animations teleporting 10 feet in a frame, but Destiny just feels clunky. I could never imagine Destiny being a competitive game in its current state.
  8. Are you playing competitively or pubs?

Chalmers is the last person I'd want returning to the Heat.
  11. Halo 2 had the best BTB. It would be interesting to see it played competitively.
  12. The music from 5:13-6:25 is pretty epic. This is by far the best trailer for Destiny.
  13. It's a good idea, but here's how I would like to see default halo: I'm hoping sprint is removed, and default movement is 110%. Flinch removed, descope brought back. Loadouts removed. Drop/pickup flag and oddball. One sided objective Powerups instant pickup Can move while holding back button to check score Halo 3 grenades, but with much longer range (they were consistent and nade launching using two nades) Map items are light so nade tricks can be implemented Halo 2 BR (fast center speed, low spread) Button combos (i know this would be hard to code for since they were a glitch, but this would add more depth than casual gimmicks) Adjustable sliders for aim acceleration and sensitivity.
