  1. Ooh interesting, thanks for the heads up. I never played Halo 3 much back in the day because I didn't have a 360 until way later But yeah, like @Trespa5s said above, it's more about the consistency of the BR because I find it difficult to tell how many shots hit a player in H3, which is kind of frustrating
  2. Yeah, so I think H3 would be loads more interesting to spectate if I could more consistently tell how many shots hit a player. I'm guessing that could be achieved via hitmarkers or just by having a more consistent BR. Halo 2 is my favorite to play, so I think that might be why I have that strong preference for consistent BR performance. Which probably ties into why I enjoy spectating H5 to some degree due to the consistent magnum, where you can easily tell how many shots out of five a player has taken.
  3. I'll probably get flak for this, but I honestly enjoyed watching the later H5 events more than the H3 classic. Though I'm not sure if it's mainly due to the gameplay, or if stuff like production level and having more investment in competitive H5 storylines built up from multiple events plays a big role. But the H3 classic wasn't as exciting as I was hoping it would be. It's important to note that I didn't follow competitive Halo at its peak with H3, so perhaps the nostalgic factor is lost for me?: That being said, Halo events are always good, and I 100% prefer playing classic Halo. Just my $0.02
  4. I thought the rumors were for 2020? 2021 is an awfully long wait

  6. Wanted to pipe in to say that I LOVE how much more active this forum has gotten compared to the weeks following up to DreamHack. So stoked for H3
  7. Context? What's this about? Edit: oof just saw the news...I don't quite understand Ryanoob's tweet though, can someone clarify what he means?
  8. There are rumors of a 2019 single player release and a 2020 multiplayer release Fuuuuuuuuck
  9. I feel like the longer the wait, the more hype will build. I'm glad they're taking the time to create what I hope will be a polished and complete project.
