Looking at the stats on halo5arena, the kill difference was only by 3, the game lasted over 10mins, and the score was 3-2. Pretty close to a 50/50 matchup.

That "little something" is just Halo Wars 2 DLC. It's not really exciting enough to showcase on the main stage right next to new games and IPs so it's getting its own time.

A while ago, Quinn replied to a tweet that he'd liked to experiment with strafing while auto-stabilizing. That could be one possible implementation.

I think what GunRanger is trying to say is that the Boltshot still requires the user to 'paint' the target so the projectiles can hone in. So it's not a fire and forget weapon like the Hydra, you still have to aim with it. That being said, it's still a tracking gun. It just uses a different methodology to do so.
