I'm not good enough to carry every game soloqueing so I lose a lot and then when I party up with other similar players we match way better to4's and I lose a lot. What I'm saying is, I lose a lot.

I meant outworked as in practiced, not performance. I know CLG is not the first god squad. I don't know how well the community kept track of practice schedules in the halo 2 days either. Someone pointed out that the Reach God Squad practiced a ton, so that's that.

I just don't remember a time when the top team was out working everyone by such a wide margin.

So is Naded saying the team didn't practice enough legitimate or is that kind of a cop out he used to partly justify stepping away? I haven't paid close enough attention. Crazy how people believe one person. First of all I didn't donate to Randa he knows that and he still thinks I did it he is a fucking loser. I would define competition by reference to the size of the competitive player pool. I would say the competition from early Halo was less since it had a smaller competitive player pool. I don't know what games had the highest competitive player pool but imo that would be the hardest game to compete in. Just a general rule of thumb, I'm sure there are exceptions. As far as skill gap is concerned, the lower the skill gap, the lower everyone's ceiling is, the less variation you get from top pro to top pro. I'm not even going to try to rank Halo 5 in terms of skill gap, but to me the skill gap is less important than the competitive player pool when defining "competition." Still important though. wrt Ogre 2, that was what was so impressive to me about him winning the last H3 event. The player pool at that point was huge and it had grown exponentially from previous years/titles.
