  1. I'm not sure what you are trying to say here.
  2. The most frustrating part for me is that this port robbed time that could have been spent on actually making the games play better. I have no idea how long they will continue to keep people working on mcc. It would not surprise me if after the games have been made to work as well as on the xbox that they call it quits.
  3. Its not too late. We just gotta hook you up with your local HCE dealer. Get you your fix in no time.
  4. Halo 5 lacks the cure to your condition. You need something a lil stronger. The drug HCE.
  5. We all gotta start somewhere. Just embrace your inner most desire to run around wrecking things with camo/rocks.
  6. First, you must quit being such a got dam scrub. Let me know when you have completed that step.
  7. Maybe once your taste in weapons aligns with the rest of my fan club.
  8. I appreciate your honesty. pack it up boys we got em
  9. That is simply untrue. The enemy still has geometric advantages over you. It still isn't a fair fight. Why is gaining geometric advantages exempt from this frustration you have with unfair fights?
  10. For the people reading this but not discussing. There are two sides to this. Most of what hard way is saying has not been proven. The feeling of inconsistency is just players opinions after playing alot of Halo. I personally think that the hardware is not the cause of these perceived inconsistencies. The second part about xboxes not being created equal is due to the silicon lottery.
  11. Nhe just makes shooting slightly harder. It feels very similar to playing regular offhost. It’s a very small adjustment. Along with it offering an even playing field it’s just a better way to play the original game
  12. They played 1 series together. Harris and Ogre 2 had never played on a team together and they only lost by 1 game in series with several less than 5 kill losses. Also harris had not played halo for 6+ months before that lan.
  13. No those 2 are not even top 25 players. In regards to the overall discussion, I think the outcome of a series with Ogres vs Patch/Legend or really anyone in the top 10 or so would come down to who has been able to get the most practice in. I think Ogre 1 has gotten caught up on how halo 1's strategies have changed over the years so he would be just getting reacquainted with the feel and shooting of the original game. Also, Ogre 1 has no experience with Downrush afaik and I don't think Ogre 2 has been able to play it much since BL3. It would likely put them down 1 game in a series immediately (Assuming that map was played). I think Legend and Patch losing to McDick and Jownz this Beach Lan shows that practice is who decides the winner, not anything else.
  14. The thing about an emulator is that it will likely have the same large deadzones as the original game and the difference in horizontal and vertical sensitivity. Also it will probably be played using system link which is will increase the difficulty in shooting due to offhost. It’s not really going to be a fair comparison. I’m regards to the recent updates, the game has measurably improved. With bullet redirection finally gone leading shots actually works now. That is not a placebo.
  15. On split screen, shooting is still too easy especially the sniper. Thats why I think the controllers plus consistent 60 fps are such a large factor. MCC does not use the No lead mod from halo PC. In regards to your second paragraph, the problem we are running into is that every time we take an example that looks like MCC being very generous and watch the shot frame by frame, it would have worked on splitscreen of the original game. Another factor that I don't hear brought up is the impact of being able react instantly in the original game when being shot at. Because of the addition of lag and lag compensation I think the window players have to duck behind something when shot at is not nearly as large. Edit: One more thing I forgot to mention, after you kill someone their character can move quite a bit between when the killing shot lands and when the death animation plays. I think this has the effect of making it appear as though you aimed poorly and killed them but they really were where you aimed at the time of trigger pull.
  16. This is why I have my voice set to mute all typically.
  17. Not with the currently available settings. You will be able to once this update that includes the Match Composer feature is released.
  18. Well that's what you did in the post I quoted. Keep in mind, the point i'm trying to make is: Complain as loud as you want about changes they make, just make sure what you are complaining about is what has actually happened. For example: As opposed to See the difference?
  19. Im all for complaining about MCC problems but its not helpful if you are complaining about things that didn't happen or situations that are more complex than 'just fix it'. Take this post. Party restrictions were not removed, they were changed to "Party matching adjustments so it only forces party restrictions in ranked for teams of 4 vs other teams of 4." "Some players have expressed that some games within MCC don’t “feel right” compared to the Xbox 360 originals and while the code itself is identical between the OG and MCC versions of each title" Cmon, you know this isn't what happened. Both the Ogres are sitting there saying 100 kills doesn't belong. Most of the halo 1 players are absent from providing feedback on the game. It can't be easy to make these kind of decisions. Also, you don't KNOW that the people who voted in that poll are mostly later halo players. There isn't some way to see everyone who voted. Saying the voters were mostly non halo 1 players is just speculation. Again, please bitch, moan and provide feedback about MCC. Just please do not ignore things that have happened or refuse to take into account the circumstances that have lead to the decisions they have made.
