  1. You're right. I was on my way to work and edited it last second and messed up the math.
  2. For shits and gigs, my semi too early fall projection: 1. CLG - 13-1 2. NV - 12-2 3. LG - 8-6 4. EG - 7-7 5.TL - 6-8 6. E6 - 5-9 7. ALG - 4-10 8. Optic - 1-13 Edit: changed LG record to correct math.
  3. It's good to see Ola improving in these NV scrims. He seemed to be having a more difficult transition than the other 3 members. His damage per game and K/D was pretty low compared to the others the first couple weeks of scrims. He has definitely stepped it up the last few scrims.
  4. Eh, not really. I see what you're getting at, but I still think it would be better than the current system. Let's say Denial beat Optic in relegation. Do you think the Denial roster would of stayed intact through rostermania? Not a chance. Rammy and Falcated could of easily dropped the other two and picked up two others once they secured a spot. It just seems backwards to give a team a spot before the roster is locked... Let the rosters work themselves out, then have a relegation tournament (or tournaments) to see who gets the final two spots in the league.
  5. I'm fine with the current relegation system, but it needs to be after rostermania. Guaranteeing league spots before all the rosters get shaken up just seems dumb. Someone like Ryanoob who more than likely isn't going to end up on a league squad should have the chance to get on a team and challenge for a league spot.
  6. I really hope NV/C9/Liquid/E6 can close the gap between them and CLG this season. I'm a Sport Management grad from Wichita State (#goshox) and competition is very important for the growth and popularity of a sport. I can't for the life of me remember the team, but there was a NHL team that won 3-4 championships in a row and each year their attendance actually went down. Things being competitive and on a relatively even playing field are very important. The NFL is built on it. They have a salary cap you can't go over, a salary floor you can't go under, the worst teams from the previous season get the best picks in the draft and also get the easier schedules. The NFL is built so that every fan base feels like they have a chance. Esports is taking some huge steps forward, but there are a few things I'd like to see them do to increase the popularity.
  7. Lol Cratos sounding a little jaded... I do think his comment about how you handle losing is big. I felt like the new NV was taking the losses well though. Mikwen is the only one I have seen tilt at all and I think that's mainly to do with his connection.
  8. They were essentially the only team that wasn't competitive at the end of the season. They were clearly the worst team, yet they are claiming they aren't going to tweak the lineup. I don't get it... I'm not an optic fan, so I don't really care what they do, but logic would say they need to tweak with the roster. I mean out of all the teams that are forming do you see optic being able to compete with any of them? Maybe EG or ALG?
  9. Highly possible. I'm not confirming anything. Just saying he said he was dropped. Who knows though!
  10. I may be wrong, but I'm fairly positive APG said in snipedowns chat that he was dropped on his bday.
  11. If you're talking about on the rig, that was because Mikwen had the camo.
  12. Would really like to see Zyos, KillerN, Walshy, and HP Darkman team this season.
  13. Side note: does anyone know if NV skins are in the works? I feel like all pro teams should be repped.
