  1. Sprint is the one mainly focused on because it's in the meta of the game. It can't be removed through settings and it's sad to say that. Once this big problem gets taken cared of we can easily remove the smaller yet still glaring problems.
  2. The future of Halo from what I understand is to make it accessible....i don't think that is a model for success. Core Halo appealed to everyone and it made the game fun because there was noone with an advantage over someone else. Halo needs to be stripped hard. Idk even though poeple say Halo Reach sucked I enjoy myself there Wayy more than Halo 4 and the more you go back in the list the experience just gets better. So it doesn't need to be accessible it just needs to be stripped. thoughts? EDIT: When I say stripped I mean the things that were added and removed from previous Halos to get Halo 4. (& Reach too....I guess)
  3. Not really too happy with the interview. Didn't make me believe that he was as ambitious as to keep halo competitive. I do believe that they have a little more knowledge in to what it takes to make it competitive but don't really want to do it. Still wants to make it accessible....eliminate skill-gap is what it sounds like to me. His points are only as much as what he could say I get that...but he just doesn't connect sometimes....still low faith :/
  4. With all those good things there people will literally go berserk about sprint more than ever lol its funny but I believe that Halo 5 cant have sprint be in matchmaking, its an unbalancing thing that will have people get really dramatic. I may have been dramatic at times too but the fact is that a good Halo game cant have sprint. PS: De-scope is a definite must. In 4 I swear every battle feels like people are scoped in AT ALL TIMES!! lol but yeah just my two pennies.
  5. I feel like that's what they tried doing with S.O and that didn't turn out to be the best thing, Idk I really don't have faith in 343 to pull something like a firefight that we all like off, just saying :/
  6. Okay so i gave this idea before in a topic about AA's but honestly i believe that it can work pretty good. Okay so since reach we've been given these abilities to jetpack or go invisible, or see throufh walls and different stuff like that. When i first played Halo with them i had no opinion on them i thought they were generic and no biggie. Yeah i began im Reach. But anyways i did play Halo 1 and 3 online and stuff and idk it never mattered to me. I come to these forums to talk about Halo and to see what others are thinking and to see where Halo is atm. It isnt good and im a believer that the next Halo wont be that much better than H4. AA's have alot to do with that because for some people they dont work. Well i want them out of Halo too! Lol But... Its not realistic to think that they will be taken out. 343 likes them and they believe that by taking them out everyone will leave...(which i know the opposite will happen)...so just to add to the list of solutions that has already been made this is my idea... Make AA's a one time use ability. The game starts and you can only use your overpowered AA one time the whole game. What will this do? Itll make it so that the majority of the game wont be abused by people using AA's. People will focus in their weapon and their AA's will comes after. The opposite team will then focus on counting and keeping track of their opponents AA's. And this can be taken to the next level. Since the ability happens only once per player the AA's may be accepted as attacks more or can changed to fit the one time use basis. Like you as a Spartan have your Halo triangle, BR-Melee-Grenade, and then there's that trump card that is very situational and yu only have one of. People will have to really think about which situation their ability is the most useful for and imagine a game being saved by someone who saved their AA and used it to like enhance his armor to give up his own shields so that his teamate with rockets can regain his own shields... Thats some real teamwork strategizing. And then he cant do that move again the whole game so you will not be surprised by that same thing happening again. It can really turn into a game that needs another level of strategizing on top of power positions and weapon control i believe. Thoughts?
  7. A good way for AA's to work imo is by making them have a one use limit. Use it once and its gone. What does that do? How does it help? Use it in combat and yur saved onced, and if you use it use it by accident its gone. It makes then valuable and enjoyable to use. It also allows everyone to know what they had and that they don't have it anymore.

  10. Carbine starts doesn't feel like a rich Halo experience. Plus people are already in love with the BR, its strange to hear people wanting a carbine as their main weapon. I believe that there are more important things to change than the BR to a Carbine. I may be wrong but having it as a pickup on the map is something that'll be better due to the fact that its unexpected and many people will like it to stay as a pick-up anyways. Just my two-cents.
  11. The best "innovation" now literally would be to make a revamped Halo 3....with a continuing story from Halo 4. Strip the game of everything!! No AA, No de-scope, No crappy remakes. Like they literally need to make a Halo like if it was Halo 1. Do you get what I mean?
