  1. I have so much I could say but there's no reason to explain myself, peace out beyond forums
  2. I waited until now to read the forums. I knew you guys would be ruthless but God damn
  3. My team cyberstorm is playing wise gaming today first round. Wise actually poached nebula from us- a little background to make the match more interesting.
  4. I'd like to write a quick post commenting on how the FFA was ran at Daytona. First it was great they put up 5k for the prize pool, spread well between the top 6 of the finals. To qualify starting Saturday you had to get first in 8 different FFAs and if you lost your got up. It was a good idea, my issue with it was the earlier you played it in the easier it was to qualify due to higher tier players still competing in 4s therefore not worrying about the FFA. This allowed some players to qualify who most likely wouldn't have. Additionally because there were only 24 spots available pros barely had a chance to get in, with Str8 sick being the only pro dedicated enough to qualify. I did see cratos and suspector also trying. 2 of my teammates Stress and Hoax also qualified. We got to the venue on Sunday around 11:50 ten minutes before being DQed luckily the homie Rammyy tweeted at us to hurry up. So they took down most of the stations leaving only two stations available. I got one warm up game on mercy and found out the quarter finals are In mercy top 3 move on. Obviously NOBODY was happy about that as mercy sucks and now you could easily be eliminated by the randomness that is mercy. I had Rammyy Munoz and some other less known players round 1. I stated off slow and ended up changing my strat to rushing bottom mid and going for trades lol, that's apparently the meta. I got second tying in kills with Rammyy but having more deaths, myself Rammyy and Munoz move on. Next round was regret and soul snipe juziro and King nick are added in, a pretty stacked round. I end up getting first by about 5 kills, I was on top of timing OS and had great positioning to clean up others kills by camping top mid and playing patiently. So now the finals are myself, juziro, soul snipe, str8 sick, hoax, and tizoxic. I find out we are playing on dev kits. Wtf. First why is this not being streamed, second why wouldn't the first two rounds be on the dev kits. Amateur players had ZERO opportunities to play on these and then for the one game that will determine prize money you play on something completely different than playing online. Sheesh. Juziro has an amazing start but ended up getting clutched out by tizoxic. At the end of the game I was tied in kills and assists with soul snipe for 3rd but with less deaths and he got a grenade kill with literally one second on the clock left. So I got 4th, surprisingly str8 sick had an unlucky game netting him 6th place. Just a quick write up about my FFA experience. I never have played them before in h5 at events but I'll probably continue now.
  5. I specifically messaged that to your teammate Paradise. The same Paradise who made a fake twitter to solely make racist jokes and remarks about other people in the community. The same person that has been messaging and tweeting me shit talk since the dawn of H5. The same kid who went 1-9 in a game I went 8-0 in, so yeah, I'll call him dog shit. I'm pretty sure I messaged "GGs" to you. EDIT: After speaking with the individual I mixed his gamertag up with someone named "Predator." My mistake I spoke to paradise and apologized.
  6. I was thinking about skipping Daytona, but I thought deeper into it and competing on the new settings at a LAN event was something I couldn't pass up. Plus every New Yorker enjoys escaping to sunny Florida. Really looking forward to this weekend.
  7. Everything about maniacs game play was below average including his shot. He remained a pro solely because of connections.
  8. Having placed top 12/16 for the past three major open events and not made a dime, I can't help but think just a little bit of cash would help motivate me to compete.
  9. Most of the delays that happen in online tournaments is the players themselves milking. I agree millennial has a terrible track record, I competed at both of their events, but players are also at fault.
  10. When the LAN network was going on I always had a feeling Mr. P was funding a great deal of the player costs like flights. Any confirmation on that?
  11. For anybody attending Vegas and is interested in cannabis culture, the cannabis cup is going to be in Vegas the same weekend. I'll be there Sunday... After I qualify for world's
  12. Wanted to throw my team into the list of AM squads: Rob the turtle, Cloud, Botchyhawk, KuavoKenny
  13. I believe the first series is at 11:30 est, I know my series starts at 1:00 est.
  14. The minor league finals will be on Hitbox today, casted by Proverb and Knightyknight. Some great talent and definitely some great series coming up, check it out
  15. I'm forced into playing these online qualifiers and deep down I know it's for naught
  16. Also Anyone who competed in the open bracket at St. Louis knows that there was one else side of the bracket with basically the best AM teams and the other side was nothing but randoms. Golden bracket was an understatement. This was a result of the randomly seeded online single elimination qualifier for St Louis. Who would have thought that a randomly seeded single elimination tournament does a shitty job of creating credible and accurate seeds?!?!
  17. I'd like to point out how bad the brackets were at St. Louis and how that is effecting current seeding. We 3-0ed team randa in winners 4 of open bracket. As a result the seeds worked out in champ bracket that we played Luminosity and lost 3-1 and then lost 3-0 to ALG in losers. Team Randa got a fucking bye and then got 3-0ed 3-0ed twice by pros. So they place top 12 and we place top 16. How the hell can that happen?
  18. I know the spectators experience sunken but my god this event was LIT! Between the competitive open bracket, free play on closed servers, hyped matches on Feature station I was always enjoying high level Halo. I barely watched main stage because I knew I could watch the rebroadcast later. Looking forward to competing at Vegas and having another shot at the pros.
  19. Despite all the tournament issues and heartbreaking losses, Vegas was one of the best events I've been to in a very long time. Excited to see what they have planned for the future.
  20. Not sure if this qualifies as #Intel, but former MLG pro Tizoxic is bringing back the name Dynasty for HCS Vegas. BxbyJ, Chaser, and myself will be competing with Tiz through the open bracket. We placed first and second the last two open legends cups, so we're hoping to bring the name back!
  21. As a competitor from NY, attending Vegas was the obvious choice for me. I got my flight for $262 as opposed to $600-500 for Cali. Then I got a four star hotel next to the event, five nights came to $520. I'm spending a few extra days there with my girl as a small vacation. Vegas is super affordable, Cali is anything but affordable.
  22. I'm road tripping to Chattanooga and this Halo drama is the perfect start to this weekend
  23. I'd like to point out as an aspiring AM, there is one very good reason why AMs struggle to get on the level of pros. Pro Halo is a CLUB. They do not talk to, play with, or scrim against others. I have been grinding this game out for months and months competing in every AM tournament around with some fairly solid squads. And this entire time I've played two pro teams in two scrims. One because I was friends with one of the pro players the other because E6 got black listed a few months back so they agreed to playing AM teams. Give AMs a bloody chance and you'd be surprised. If rammy didn't get to sub into pro league nobody here would have ever known or talked about him, when in reality he's always been that good.
  24. Haven wasn't that great of a map, just great compared to the map pool. Haven slayer was literally a coin flip. Extraction was consistent, but slayer anyone could win
