  1. I'd say that in terms of default settings (SMG/AR starts, default weapons on map), H3 is actually the more competitive game. As everyone knows, SMG starts are cancer, and that combined with the easy-to-use precision weapons, power weapons that can be held indefinitely, and ridiculously OP niche weapons like the Brute Shot, Sword, and Plasma Pistol, makes for an imbalanced mess. I'd gladly take the overbalanced, rock-paper-scissors combat of Halo 3 over that. In terms of MLG settings, I'd give the edge to Halo 2, for the simple fact that one's individual skill can better shine through by the mastery of button combos, and faster gameplay thanks to the shorter TTK.
  2. The ones in the H1 playlist are particularly bad. I swear though, 80% of MCC are either below the age of 10, missing a thumb, or have a legitimate learning disability - and none of them have ever played Halo before. You'd think by this point, only the hardcore veterans of the series would remain.

  4. I don't have a single worst memory. The fact that Halo is dead and buried, that it could've easily been avoided, and that 343 routinely spits on its grave is like a collective worst memory. Essentially, from the time armor lock and jetpacks were announced till this very day is like a bunch of small pieces of shit that constitute one bowel movement; one that 343 failed to flush out of my mind with their defective toilet they call The MCC.
  5. I've played three games so far today. Behold my teammates: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=E6E4C8E5DFFB1526!109&authkey=!ANthixsC6H2gUEE&v=3&ithint=photo%2cpng https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=E6E4C8E5DFFB1526!110&authkey=!AAmADgoDKZeNDmQ&v=3&ithint=photo%2cpng https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=E6E4C8E5DFFB1526!111&authkey=!ALznhAjwbOFQwk4&v=3&ithint=photo%2cpng https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=E6E4C8E5DFFB1526!110&authkey=!AAmADgoDKZeNDmQ&v=3&ithint=photo%2cpng I can't believe how many people bought this collection without ever having touched a Halo game, or even any game for that matter.
  6. Of course, the one game in this collection that I really looked forward to (CE) is so connection-dependent that it's almost unplayable for me most of the time. Even my look sensitivity often feels sluggish, along with bad hit registration and input lag that seems to fluctuate within a match. Couple that with lobotomized randoms that make searching without a knowledgeable team of three nigh impossible for even the most ardent of pacifists to tolerate for long and, yeah...initiating rage-quit. The worst part is that, for me, the game played amazingly crisp in the first couple of days following the patch; it gave me a taste of how great I remember CE being. Were those matches being played on dedicated servers? I really don't know. I just want the old CE back.
