Xbox took to their official website this week to announce that both The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be playable in 4K Ultra HD for the Xbox One X this Fall  These two titles join a list of other upcoming 4K releases such as Sea of Thieves, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Crackdown 3, and more.

Both The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II were announced at this years E3 conference, but at the time were not confirmed to support 4K resolution.  Microsoft has already announced that many titles such as Halo 5, Gears of War 4, and Killer Instinct  will be receiving an update to support 4K.  It is nice to hear that The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II are being developed to support 4K from the start.

The Evil Within 2 will be launching on October 13th while Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will drop on October 27th.  Both games will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
