Twitch Announces New Subscription Options

Twitch has been the frontrunner for gaming and entertainment live streams for many ongoing years, innovating a platform wherein streamers and viewers can interact and support one another. Just recently, the streaming company announced a beta for new subscription options for viewers.

The beta will be launching “very soon” for Twitch Partners who opt-in for the new options. New channels will be offered this feature as the beta continues to roll out to more streamers each week. The new options include $9.99 and $24.99 monthly subscription options for viewers who want to support their favorite streamers with more than the current $4.99/month subscription.

Additionally, Twitch Partners will have the option to provide exclusive emotes for their $10 and $25 subscribers. It’s also worth mentioning that the $10 option counts as two subscribers for the streamer, with the $25 option being equivalent to six new subscribers, which will contribute to obtaining even more emotes for a channel.

Twitch plans to have these new subscriber options rolled out to all partnered channels within the next few weeks, so keep your eyes out if you plan on upping your support of your favorite streamer!
