Scump leaves OpTic Gaming, Joins EnvyUs

After rumors flying around for the last day, Scump made it official that he is leaving OpTiC Gaming after being on the team for 2 years and joining Team EnvyUs. After another disappointing tournament at UMG Philly last weekend and BigTymeR‎ retiring to coach, it comes to no surprise that he left. EnvyUS released this statement below:

Team Envy have acquired former Optic Gaming member Seth “Scumpii “ Abner as the newest member of the highly regarded professional Call of Duty roster. In what is being touted as the first formal team to team player transfer in the history of console Call of Duty eSports, Abner was transferred to Team Envy by OpTic Gaming.

Seth “Scumpii” Abner started his professional career in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and has since been a top performing professional player during Call of Duty eSports seasons with teams such as Quantic Leverage, and OpTic Gaming; quickly cementing his reputation as one of the most talented players in the history of Call of Duty eSports. Before joining OpTic Gaming, Abner had a short stint with Team Envy during the 2010-2011 season. As he makes his return to Envy, Abner brings his talent and experience to fill the position of veteran professional Raymond “Rambo” Lussier while Lussier transitions into a coaching/management role for Envy during the 2014 Call of Duty eSports Season.
