No Man’s Sky is the innovative new game from Hello Games, expanding on the exciting game genres of sci-fi and space exploration. The game was originally revealed at E3 in 2013, so it has been a long time in the making. Originally, the game was set to release at the end of June, however Sean Murray from Hello Games made a brief announcement regarding the release date for No Man’s Sky.

Via the PlayStation Blog, Sean Murray made the following statement:

However, as we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special.

Therefore, No Man’s Sky has been delayed to early August. Check out the new release schedule below.

North America: August 9

Europe: August 10

UK: August 12

Reminder: No Man’s Sky releases on PS4 in August as a timed exclusive and will release on PC soon after
