Halo fans were disappointed to find out that 343 Industries remained true to their word when they made it known that Halo 6 would not make an appearance at this year’s E3. The only real “news” about the follow-up to Halo 5 was revealed from 343 Founder and Studio Head Bonnie Ross, when she confirmed LAN support for the next title.
Naturally, fans have looked to future upcoming major video game conferences as a possible outlet for the next Halo game to be discussed. But to the disappointment to many, this was once again debunked. 343 Industries Jeff Easterling had this to say:
“While there’s little to nothing that can be said on that front, it’s been made clear that we won’t be talking about Halo’s next major title for quite some time,” Easterling said. “And no, that doesn’t mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we’re ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you’ll know. It won’t be soon.”
It has been previously confirmed by Halo Franchise Director Frank O’Connor that Halo’s next story will be all about Master Chief, but that is the only details we know at this point. At this point all we can do is sit back and wait. Us here at Beyond Entertainment will surely keep you up to date as soon as news breaks on the next Halo title.
