New Xbox One Dashboard Revealed

Microsoft is currently testing a substantial redesign of the Xbox One’s dashboard. Those who are part of Xbox One’s Insiders program can try out the alpha version of this overhaul.  Microsoft’s main goal with this redesign is to increase navigation speed and application switching. Here is the first look at the new Xbox One dashboard update.

As you can see from Major Nelson and Mike Ybarra’s video tour, the update will allow you to customize your home screen, allow you to have more control of the Game Bar, increase navigation speeds, and much more.  Community is also a big part of this update. With changes coming to Friends and Clubs to make it easier to keep up to date with other gamers. The Activity Feed is getting a new layout as well.

There has yet to be an official date tied to the upcoming Xbox update, but Microsoft promises more features in the coming months for Xbox One, windows 10 Pc, Mixer, and mobile apps. Microsoft is looking to it’s Insider members for valuable feedback on changes being made with this update and more. As more information comes in, we will be sure to keep you updated!
